「Since my last visit, the resort has made some good improvements. They just was finishing a project to add a beach area. They also made other outdoor improvements that improved the appearance. I still don't understand the fees. Just increase the room rates. They should consider adding a small ferry boat to take people ( especially elderly) around the lake. Its a beautiful lake, but its very difficult for elderly people to utilize the paddle boats. 」

「The only thing I could negatively critique is the carpets as we’re a bit elderly with slight musty odor. Almost like there had been smokers in the room at some earlier time. The bathroom fan was quite noisy. It needs replacing too. But otherwise,the bed was comfortable, tv worked ,bathroom was clean with everything necessary and the room was quiet. The location was convenient.」

「Stayed for one night and the hotel felt very clean. Didn't have that strange hotel odor that some places have. The staff was friendly. Our kids enjoyed the indoor pool. We arrived later in the evening, so it was nice that the pool was open till 11pm. I was happy with the room and would stay here again.」

「Check in was okay, the pet fee is more than most other places. The beds were comfy. The bathroom sink didn’t drain well. The shower was hot with fair water pressure. 」

「Wonderful host! Beautiful campsite! Clean Port-a-potty, with 2-ply toilet tissue! Awning over a picnic table for a nice dinner, there's a grill, fire ring, wood supplied and chairs. We camped at "Big D's Pond", one of his two camping sites. The only drawback is that there's no place to wash/clean up. "Hippie baths" All in all, you will not be disappointed!」
