「It was all good」

「The hotel has been renovated a few years ago. The rooms are simple with few amenities (so you’ll need bring your own kettle if you want the occasional tea) but reasonably spacious (though with a rather bland colour scheme). Had a sea facing room on the 3rd floor with a small balcony that was nice. Late-night noise from various parties, nightclubs etc, from along the seafront was sadly a persistent issue (but not the fault of the hotel) so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Staff friendly...

「I really liked the breakfast and dinner, there has been a variety of food and a great selection. The team was really nice and helpful. We had some problems with the air conditioning, unfortunately it did not work and was not fixed during our stay. But it was not that important for our stay, it was not that hot that we needed it. We had a lovely stay and can recommend the Hotel. We definitely want to come back. 」

「We had a great Expedia points deal this time, the regular pricing (honestly in all of Opatija) seems steep. Nonetheless, the experience was very good. Comfy bed, decent shower, minibar, sea/harbor view. A little water kettle would have been appreciated though. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant really acceptable. Having been here before, I'm sure we will be back as well with another surplus of travel points to cash :-) 」
