Party at rooftop till 11:15 on staurday night when I checked in. No WiFi services for 4 days till I am making this comment.I paid for 5 night which are included full facilities. No explanation and no apologies from hotel.

The rooms are well-designed and equipped with all amenities including real coffee and a real coffee pot, nice-sized refrigerator, etc.
The front desk staff is especially helpful. One went out of her way to contact me when I accidentally dropped my VISA card and a Good Samaritan turned it in. Very appreciated.

The hotel seems to value wedding guests and their parties more than non-wedding guests. The bar was closed last for a wedding party that was on the roof/not even in the bar and refused to serve patrons. This morning the hotel was out of creamer and I was told to wait for the restaurant to own, rather than the staff taking time to put out more creamer. Some of the staff were not friendly or helpful- a new guy and woman working last night were great.

I made a reservation months in advance to stay at the Box Hotel. We were excited to go to a wedding and at the same time be close to our children who live in Brooklyn. A health situation forced us to cancel- 2 weeks in advance of our stay. We had paid in full. The hotel under "No" circumstance would refund our money or even offer a credit for a future stay. We several of the hotel staff who could care less-which amplifies the frustration of the situation. Just want visitors to know-you (the client) don't really matter there are plenty of people coming to NY they don't need you and don't care.
