「Wonderful service and facilities」

「Very nice property with a superb location to Burlington and Shelburne. Spacious rooms with everything you’d need for an extended stay. Wonderful staff. Depending on your room location street can be a bit noisy and we experienced some noise between floors. Overall my husband and I will definitely stay here again. 」

「The hotel and staff were great. The only complaint was breakfast. It wasn’t a breakfast. It was boxed cereals, breads with cheap small pastries and yogurt. Hard boiled eggs were the only protein. Old bruised apples were the defeated fruit. Sad reason to wake up for breakfast. 」

「The beds were the most comfortable hotel beds i have ever slept on. Room was clean and stocked with coffee and the shower essentials. Breakfast was included and had a decenet variety. The check in gentleman was so courteous and nice. 5/5 from me 」

「We love the new Hawthorn, it’s close to where we are visiting family. Staff are very pleasant, room very clean. Sound is an issue, but that’s how hotels are made now, no soundproofing..you can literally hear bathroom, and all other noises, inside and outside. 」

「Really beautiful, especially in the fall. We came the second week in October and some reds had fallen but there was a lot of yellow. We were so warm and cozy! There is no way to cook food though, just an outdoor sink, fresh water, and toilet. If you’re coming from out of town make sure you rent a car. There is no Lyft or Uber service in the area.」

「We had an excellent off-season stay here. The staff are all super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious, with very comfortable beds. The whole property is friendly to dogs on leashes(except possibly inside The Red Slate Restaurant). We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful time exploring nearby Manchester, Londonderry, and Dorset. The Red Slate had an excellent menu and we ate there for 2 dinners and breakfasts (reservations on Open Table Suggested). The bar...

「The staff were friendly, the room and common areas were clean. Brattleboro is a nice small town and north of the hotel are perhaps the loveliest small towns in Vermont, with Putney being our favorite! Relaxed, good food and very nice people cap off the beautiful and largely undisturbed back country roads as well as an awesome Coop and country store.」
