"It’s a well equipped apartment in a good area. The floor was not clean, and the property is in need of some maintenance. The mattresses are very springy and uncomfortable. The upstairs toilet doesn’t flush very well and leaves a bad drainage smell after use. The road noise spoils the view from the balcony and the close proximity to the train station, which serves stabling trains, early morning and late evening with engines running should be mentioned."

"A very attractive house in a quiet location away from it all with superb views down to the sea. Very well equipped property with everything we could have wanted for cooking meals etc. The hot water supply was not wholly reliable and requires some maintenance. Also there was a risk of injury from protruding carpet grippers on the stairs which caused scratches to bare feet. Overall, a good place to spend a holiday."

"We stayed here for 3 nights in September and enjoyed every minute of it. Guy left us a summary of instructions of the workings of the property which was straight forward and was greeted with a nice welcoming bottle of wine and some Welsh biscuits-very nice!The house was lovely, bright and clean and ample size for 2 of us and our dog. It had a nice balcony that overlooked the sea, great for watching the sun go down with a glass of wine. Parking was enough for 1 car on the driveway. We would love to come back here, it was a shame we didn’t stay longer. Thank you Guy."

"The property is peaceful and very scenic, there are lovely views out of almost every window. The property was spotless and very well appointed. The kitchen extension is amazing we lived in there whilst at the cottage.The beds were very comfortable and the bath and shower had plenty of hot water. The garden was well enclosed for 2 labradors, although they weren't too sure about the cows!We had a slight issue with the kettle but Jenny was most helpful and we got it sorted with no fuss. You do have quite a drive to get to main roads but the views and peace make it very worthwhile."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gwynfa House. We were two families of four and found the property to be really spacious, with different living areas, so everyone found it really comfortable. The bedrooms were lovely and the beds and the pillows meant we had great sleeps.We were really pleased with the size of the garden and to have this so close to the beach was more than we expected. We hadn't realised just how close to the beach the house was, the kids loved going down there after our evening meal. Abersoch centre was also only two minutes away, which was a bonus!Virginia was a great host who provided lots of detail about the house and directions for getting there. We would thoroughly recommend staying here and look forward to returning soon."

"Lovely cottage in a wonderful location. Decorated to a high modern standard with all amenities covered. Welcome pack was a lovely touch. Spacious kitchen/ diner, plenty of hot water on tap. We were a group of 6 and never ran out even when we were all showering around the same time.Lots of books and puzzle games to enjoy and even stuff for the beach, cricket set, giant jenga etc. Location is fantastic to explore the lovely Welsh countryside and the views from the terrace watching the sun go down over the sea are amazing!! There is even an electric car charging point on site. About a 15 minute walk into the local town (steep hill across countryside) where you will find fast food restaurants, a Spar shop and a lovely little pub. It’s about a 3 minute drive. The only thing to note is that the access road to the cottage is quite narrow and can get covered in loose stones after heavy rain (if you are unlucky with the weather). I would definitely recommend staying here for a relaxing break or as a base for exploring north Wales."

Very comfortable and well equipped, didn’t get that “empty” feeling that some holiday lets have. Also it was such a short walk to the beach. We really enjoyed the pie and pub quiz night at the very friendly aqua bar just down the way. Also the art gallery and cafe a few mins walk away is wonderful. Very quiet and peaceful. Look out for bunnies in the garden! Would love to stay again"
