“This was a lovely spot to stay - think B&B rather than hotel. Close to the main village, comfortable and clean. The only reason I marked breakfast as low is that we found, like most places, they charge € 15 for breakfast, which was approximately $25 Canadian. Breakfast in general was expensive everywhere we stayed. But the food quality and quantity at this property were fine, just expensive by Canadian standards.”

“Lovely room, quiet location, onsite parking. We were a bit disappointed with not having a kettle in the room to make tea. We were able to use the kitchen but if awake in the night we would be reluctant to use it for fear of disturbing the other residents.”

“The home is clean and comfortable. The host was lovely. There are no amenities (no breakfast) and the walk to town is considerable (and a rather large hill!). But, it was an excellent place to lay our weary heads. Check in and checkout were simple. ”

“First time I have stayed here. A real find. A bit quirky but overall excellent. Rooms come with fridge which vontained some fresh smoked salmon and Brie plus ol and water. Also breakfast is a very good DIY with granola and yogurts provided plus croissants and French pastries, jams etc. Also the hotel has a brilliant restaurant which you have to book as the locals know about it too. The car park can be a little tight and the stairs no lift would challenge the infirm. Overall a fabulous good value……
