“Overall great experience, the food at the hotel restaurant is the best out of all the restaurants in the entire rio dulce area. The only thing I recommend is that they upgrade the mattresses and clean the pool water more thoroughly. ”

“El hotel no es un hotel de lujo, es un eco hotel dentro de la selva de Izabal, rodeado de manglares, si te gusta la naturaleza este es el lugar perfecto, las cabañas son pequeñas, comodas con lo necesario, el personal muy atento, mi unica sugerencia es que cambien de musica en el area de recepcion y comedor, tenian puesto todo el tiempo regeton, una musica muy desagradable, por lo demas todo perfecto”

“The hotel is great. The air conditioning made it very easy to sleep. The room was large and very clean. I liked the layout of the bathroom. The grounds are beautiful. Parked on the street. The staff were helpful and very friendly. My room did not have shampoo nor conditioner but I had my own, so it was not a concern--just something to be aware of when you are packing. Due to a very early departure, we did not get to enjoy the breakfast. Based upon the excellent service and beautifully……

“The breakfast was perfect. Fresh fruit, eggs, toast and coffee. We had the room with the terrace with hammock which was great. The hammock is great to come back to after a long morning of walking/touring. Views of sunrise over the mountains in the morning and an occasional sight of Macaws flying by. The location is great; only a few block from town center up a hill. Plenty of hot water and the shower as nice and large. The bed was comfortable. The only issue we had is that a neighbor's……

“Parking is secure and gated. Staff were great. The property was older and in need of updating. We enjoyed our stay but I think we would look elsewhere if we returned. ”
