「I stayed two nights at the Heritance Tea Factory hotel. As soon as I arrived I was amazed by the scenery, it looks just exactly the same as the photo, surrounded by tea plantations with a great with of the mountains from afar. It is a bit of a drive from the town but it was nice to be in somewhere very peaceful and scenic. They have a lovely welcome ritual and tea. The hotel still has the engines from the factory days and they runs every night for 30 mins. It is full of stories in this hotel....

「The place was nice and clean but what really stood out was the staff. They always stopped to visit when walking by and genuinely wanted to ensure we enjoyed our stay. I would definitely stay here again! 」

「Absolutely beautiful bungalow. The staff are incredibly supportive and caring. The location is unbelievable - amazing views and very peaceful. The food is of the highest quality and service impeccable. Highly recommend and will definitely return. 」

「非常にアクセスしにくいが、秘境の中に広がった茶畑と工場跡に建てられたホテルは他にはない非日常を体験できる場所です」

「Wow what an experience it was to stay here! It is so off the beaten track that you need collecting by the hotel staff in a very heavy duty jeep because a normal car stands no chance of getting there. It is the most peaceful place I have ever been with the most amazing views of the mountains. I will say it is so remote that you can’t just pop out for lunch etc so make sure you’re prepared with things to keep you entertained for your stay. The food was all incredible and the staff were some of...

「Utterly fabulous. We were hesitant about booking due to the high price point; but it was worth every penny. The staff are wonderful, so caring and hospitable - nothing is too much trouble. The views take your breath away, the food was the best we had in Sri Lanka. We really did not want to leave 」

「The Scottish Planter is situated in the middle of tea plantations, which give an amazing landscape. The service is excellent, always here to help. The rooms are quiet spacious and very clean.」

「Excellent service all the staff was so nice. My room was very nice and the view of the mountains from my terrace was beautiful. The food was also very good. 」

「I booked this property beacuse it had good reviews, however to my disappointment it wasnt the case. However the the staff seemed to be very unprofessional The front office didnt have any extra multiplug to give us ) It took 2-3 attempts to get water bottles to our room The restaurant staff are just ridiculous. No quality at all. The waiter who came to our table was reluctant to serve us and even was hesitant to bring us the ala carte menu. (They had a set menu and ala carte option) as a...

「They had no record of our reaction (that we had paid confirmation through hotels.com. They charged us cash to get a room. (Options in the area and time we arrived extremely limited). Had to try and negotiate an 11 check out at 9 suggested he wanted us out by 10 (place had no other guests). Very noisey all night」
