“Location, cleanliness and extremely friendly and helpful staff. I had never booked at a highway motel, let alone one connected to a gas station so I was a little worried - but ended up loving my stay and wishing I could have stayed another night to enjoy the lake! The room has rustic cabin like design, and the beds were comfortable. The one issue I saw is that the bathroom had visible water damage and a bit of rust on the curtain rod in some places. I suspect had a lot to do with poor……

“Good location close to the beach”

“What a great place!! Owners and staff are top notch. Easy check in. Great food. Lodge is roomy with a lounge, pool table and several dinning tables aswell as a tackle and merch shop area. Clean cabins. Feels like your experience really matters to them. Great atmosphere to be in and unwind. Launched our boat with ease. This Lake system is amazing. Huge cliffs, beautiful waterfalls and streams surrounded by hills topped with massive wind swept pines.Looking forward to our next trip up. Cant come……

“My husband and I absolutely loved this place. Despite the age, the rooms are all nicely decorated and clean. It was a short walk to the beach where we could watch the sunset. What impressed us the most was how amazing and wonderful the staff was The food from the attached was really good and satisfying.”

Such a nice change from the cookie cutter motel rooms. Bbq's available for use on site. Adirondack style chairs to sit and watch the stars in the evening. This place ranked number 1 on our week long motorcycle trip. Thank you.”

“The room had a digitally controlled air conditioner. It worked. It was set for 71*F which was ok but we couldn’t find the controller. Until morning. It was in the drawer of the night stand. I suggest when the room is cleaned and prepped that AC and TV controllers should be left in plain view for the guests.”
