Forget your worries with amazing sunrises and sunsets from this secluded 2-bedroom home surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery! The secured property is exclusively yours, without interruption during your stay, so relax, unwind, and make yourself at home.
The 1-acre private home is a few miles from Jemez National forest trailheads! A scenic twenty-minute drive to Ghost Ranch or Georgia O'Keefe's home and studio in Abiquiu, beautiful sunrises and moonrises. We are a beautiful 1-hour drive from Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad or Ojo Caliente's Mineral Springs.

Find your peace and quiet in this freshly renovated 2-bedroom home with relaxing living-room space, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dry, outdoor patio, fire pit and game room that includes pool table and dart board. The master "sunset" bedroom has a queen-sized bed and daybed with remodeled en-suite bathroom with shower and full amenities. The "sunrise" bedroom has a queen bed and shares a full bathroom with amenities.
If you want to make this a family event, we have RV parking on the property with water and electricity hook-up for an additional $50/night.

We enjoyed the day, and night views. The dogs came over to visit frequently. They were quite the treat. The water was really good too, for drinking and bathing. 2 of the group had never been in this part of New Mexico. The mountains, and surrounding areas were amazing.

This property is in such a beautiful area and the property itself had everything you could ask for. Great place for stargazing and enjoying gorgeous views. The property owners are super nice and accommodating.

Stayed for the second time in a month
Once again, a good experience. Stayed for our second elk hunt and enjoyed our stay! Thanks to Melvin and Renee Morfin for being wonderful hosts.

Hunting in unit 6c!
We used the property as base camp for our hunting trip. We had a bull tag in unit 6c, but my parents are too old to camp out anymore. But they still love to come hunting with us (if we have a place for them to stay).
From this location, we were about a 45 minute drive from some of our favorite hunting spots up forest road 100 behind the Pedernal.
It was nice to have comfortable beds, a warm shower and a good size kitchen to prepare meals!
Beautiful scenery, the canyon views behind this property are breath taking.
We had a wonderful time and grateful we were able to harvest a huge 6 x 6 bull elk!
Will definitely be staying here again when we draw tags in this unit in the future.
The host was responsive and communicated with us when we had questions during our stay.

Perfect location

Beautiful mountain home
Basic, well stocked, and clean. Not so basic surroundings. The hosts are extremely accommodating. Mountain views all around. Can't beat the location of the home for mountain views 360. If you're wanting to spend time in Santa Fe national forest, book here.

Gorgeous views
Just a quick 2 night stay for my brother and me. The house is in a very quiet area with great mountain views. We didn't have a lot of time for star gazing, but the stars were awesome. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Thank you!

Unwinding in Coyote
Few places near Lake Abiquiu that met our particular needs for a quick 2-day paddleboard trip but we found this rental that was conveniently less than 15 minutes away. It was exactly what we needed- a quiet, very clean and comfortable place to relax after a long day. Additionally, the mountain views are gorgeous.Made for beautiful evenings outside playing frisbee with our dog in the vast enclosed property. Melvin and Renee are quickly responsive and we thank them for lending us their place!
Two side notes: 1)Be sure to plan your meals, snacks and drinks for your stay otherwise closest conveniences can be 40-50 min away in Cuba or Espanola. 2) The drive on 96 from Coyote towards Cuba is beautiful! Never been😁!
