"We stayed in this hotel 5yrs ago when we came for the world rugby cup in 2019. We loved it so much that we came back again. There is nothing changed. Well, it's improved since, can I say. We had a lovely surprise in the morning that they gave us more options on breakfast. We were both very pleased. The staff were very friendly as well. "

"Convenient hotel with on-site parking for ¥500. Easily walk-able to local restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Note that certain amenities are not included (razors, toothbrush) so bringing one is important. Also, though a non-smoking room was reserved, I was given a smoking room, so make sure you check upon check-in."

"Near train station which was nice. Is harder to find as it is inside of an overhang off the street. Once you find it its easy to navigate to as near main dinning and shopping area. I went during a slow time of year, but got a little street noise but not much. Good outlet and mini area for luggage. I had 3 bags (size of airplane carry on) and all fit under bed. In summer, the sleeping area might get a little stuffy as no vent, but if you have a mini fan this shouldnt be an issue. Receptionist...

"It was fantastic to stay in such a beautiful old home. The rokms are bright in the moring due to not having blinds, but i assume that is in keeping with the historic nafire of the house. It is still well worth staying in this place!"

"I really loved this retro hotel on top of the mountainside. I had the mysterious looking onsen all to myself several times around 9-10 pm and it was so cool. The view is amazing and the food was very good. Just know that you are really in the countryside and to get to Onomichi it is going to take at least an hour using public transit. "While some japan hotels do not provide water, this hotel provided 2 water bottles for guests. Stayed 1 night in a bunk bed room, and the bed was quite soft. Room is small and can open up 1 luggage at each time. Toilet amenities are good, they use DHC brand, which is a well-known brand among ladies."
