「Petit hôtel tenu par des gens chaleureux et accueillants, au milieu des rizières. Une chambre calme et très agréable, un bon petit déjeuner fait par la propriétaire. Tout est réuni pour passer un bon séjour. Je recommande de séjourner ici plutôt qu’à Dazhai qui est trop touristique. Nous avons meme été conduit par le propriétaire jusqu’à l’arrêt de bus pour ne pas le manquer. Merci pour tout ! 」

「The Floral Hotel Longsheng was quite an experience. The hotel itself is literally set into the side of a mountain with rooms that look out at the valley and the mountains across the valley. Our room was exceptionally spacious and readily fit the five members of our family across its two floors. While some of the beds were a bit hard by American standards (my daughter described them as a blanket on top of a board) - they were still acceptable given the rustic vibe of the place. When the harvest is done it’s time to prepare for winter. Any of the rice hay not required for animal feed is burned in the terraces. Climb to the top of the village and beyond to a great scenic spot for sunset and just gaze as the villagers set about their daily tasks. Such a great view at any time but aim to get their for sunrise or sunset for the best light on the valleys and terraces. You can visit all year round, but for the best reflections in the rice terraces aim to be here in April or May when they irrigate the fields.
