“Loved our stay at the Von Trapp resort. Location in Stowe is idyllic and the history and various tours are very additive to the experience. Food options are top notch from breakfast to dinner. “Lovely place to stay with plenty for kids and adults to do. The room was beautiful and spacious for 4 of us. We enjoyed our stay but did not enjoy the pizzas. They were poor quality and tasted cheap. Great place to stay but avoid the microwaved food. ”

“Great resort with beautiful grounds. The area is quiet. We enjoyed the bowling and food on site. They also have a room with books and board games to borrow during your stay. The staff is amazing and super friendly and helpful. Fresh baked cookies, hot cocoa, and coffee at all times! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We got a loft room and our only complaint was the upstairs was warm. Air conditioning is on the bottom only so it was hot at times. They had a fan available upstairs……

“ Lovely large room. Loved having the washer dryer in the room. Pool is close to the room. Nice and quiet.”

“Charming! This pleasant inn reminded me of something in a Miss Marple novel. My room was clean and well-furnished. Staff was pleasant; there doesn’t seem to be often someone at the front desk, but my call to the duty phone was answered quickly. I didn’t take advantage of the free breakfast, but it looked and smelled great. My one complaint is the parking lot: the lines are so close together it was hard to park and then hard to open my car door. Overall: a lovely place and I'd stay there again.”
