“We booked thinking this was 2 star but it’s definitely a 3 star hotel so we were pleasantly surprised. The ‘spa’ bit is €40/hr private hire and downstairs, no windows so we gave that a skip. The room with balcony and sea view was lovely with a fridge but no kettle. We didn’t partake in €12 pp breakfast. There is a bar/restaurant on 5th floor with sea views and an amazing astroturf roof terrace on 6th floor with lots of seating -again a really lovely surprise. All in all I couldn’t work out why……

“We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Piras in Alghero! From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely outstanding – the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed (and more). They were always available, extremely helpful, and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped, with everything you could possibly want for a relaxing holiday. The location is great too – close enough to explore Alghero……

“Excellent 3 night stay at the Park Hotel Asinara. We had a very comfortable Superior room, with a partial sea view and plenty of storage space. The breakfast was the best during our stay on Sardinia, fresh fruit, homemade savoury flans, eggs, preserves, etc. Pretty seating area. The shuttle to and from La Pelosa beach was a very useful option. It took about 15 minutes to walk the other way into Stintino for restaurants in the evening, (longer coming back as that was uphill!) “It’s a really beautiful place. Pools were a super addition and their private beach was beautiful. They offered a free shuttle to the beach which was helpful as it’s about a 20 min walk from the rooms. The onsite restaurant is really great and they offer take away which was handy as sometimes we wanted to stay in the room and relax. We had the pleasure of staying in a small cabin and it was gorgeous for a couple of romantic nights with my partner. It was quiet, great bathroom and comfy bed.……

“Foi uma estadia maravilhosa. Gostamos muito do atendimento das funcionárias. Gostamos do pequeno-almoço com tudo o que queriamos e mais surpresas deliciosas. Além disso, a título de exemplo do bom serviço foi que o meu marido esqueceu-se da garrafa de água na receção e estava quente da praia então a empregada deu-nos uma garrafa de vidro com água fresca.
