“Everything's great except that the teapot provided during breakfast was not clean once in the 5-day stay. The staffs have always been friendly and the room was nicely prepared.”

“This is quite a difficult review to write. On one hand, we had a small problem with the hot water(which was fixed promptly in the middle of the night) and the catering could be a bit slow at times. On the other hand, most of the staffs here would take every opportunity to make your stay better. Promptly responding to each of our request and providing knowledges about the islands and wildlifes. “Rooms were nicely decorated however for a 5* resorts I was expecting the bathrooms to be modern and beautiful. They were not! And also we found (we had 3 rooms) mould in all showers. Reception and staff from La Mesa were very friendly however staff at the pool bar were not nice and cocktails were not up to the quality we expected from again a 5* resort. Very noisy due to school hols and kids take over all amenities. We will not be back as it didn’t provide value for our money and it was not a 5*……

“Hotel centrally located. 1-2 blocks from Four Mile Beach and a few blocks from the stores and restaurants. Ideal. Free parking. Small pool area but made to look like a beach. Small “spa” room. Breakfast buffet $40 and also small and limited choices so we skipped.”

“Spent 3 nights in Qualia during our visit to Great Barrier Reef. The staffs were generally friendly and helpful. Dinner in the long pavilion was awesome but be prepared for its high price. Taste menu is highly recommended. Overall speaking it's definitely a 5 star resort. However, with the money you spent ( at least 1250 USD per night, half board), you will surely expect something more unique and personal. ”

“We stayed for one night, perhaps that's why they put us to the furthest room in the lodge. We are of a minimum of 20-min walk away from the main building, which is pretty much where everything (restaurants, activities, free wifi) is... My boyfriend slipped over wet floor twice on our way to restaurants... No wifi in room. Room very small and no river view given the price. Breakfast so so. Staff are very helpful but didn't mention that the complimentary guided walk requires prior booking when I……
