Good stay, rooms spacious and clean. Stay at breakfast let the score down, as we’d not pre-booked we felt to be an inconvenience to the staff team and asked to stand back while other guest were dealt with. After waiting, having a credit machine thrust at us we were then ‘permitted’ to sit at the table we were standing beside, it spoiled an otherwise great experience. Other staff, the room, swimming pool were great.

We have stayed many times at Village hotels and opt for the " upper deck " rooms , giving access to the leisure facilities and sky tv in your room . However on this stay we noted that there is no longer the Nespresso machine in the room and the Bose sound system. The location of this hotel is on the edge of the city and a short drive into the centre.

The nespresso coffee & bose sound systems were removed from the rooms, in all our hotels, and from our website amenities list several years ago. I'm sorry your request was not met for a rollaway bed but we do not advertise, offer or indeed have these beds in the hotel to provide, hence we were unable to meet this request. Our website also states this. As the age of the child was also not noted in your request, a cot was provided. I'm sorry this was unsuitable. I do hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back again. We do offer interconnecting rooms that allows parents to be in adjoining rooms for any future stays with us. Many thanks againBob

An excellent stay, at great location, with good facilities and the food was absolutely brilliant. Staff great, very helpful and accommodating.

Second time here and was just as lovely. Staff are super helpful and go above and beyond to help your stay be as lovely as it should be. Great for kids too

Last minute stay
Last minute stay due to power cut. Nice room and smart bathroom with shower. We ate in the restaurant and were served a nice meal. Good to see someone in charge.

Disaster of a place .hotel not clean blinds oh
My stay at Aberdeen village hotel was distar.would not recommended to any friends .hardly any people speak English all polish.also I was booked for two nights .but left after one .from the lift door to room and inside room carpets are all dirty .room smelling also no heating on freezing I told reception and nothing done .Dustbin in bathroom not emptied blinds in room not cleaned a empty bottle in bathroom you would have thought that the bed sheet was turned over and used before I could not sleep in bed I lay on top of quilt .breakfast was not hot no fried eggs only scrambled .no one said why are you not happy .I would give his hotel a two star only .bar area you have to wait to be served as the lady was taking orders for food and serving it up .this was meant to make me happy as I just came out of hospital .instead it depressed me .A complete disaster .I asked for manager and they said no he is not here.and just as I was leaving I saw him go to office and I asked for a nights refund as I only used one night and they said no .I would not evening take my grandchild there for swimming .bad and dirty place all cleaners are polish .I did not like the idea of cleaners entering my room when I went down for breakfast .when they new I was meant to be there for two nights .my friend who was there with me left early evening as the room was freezing .so I was solo .then my daughter came to pick me up to go home and she said it was a disay .such a shame the Delta Marriott is closing .

Good afternoon Susan. Whilst i am sorry you encountered some challenges, i must refute the majority of your comments.The nationality of my team here is of no consequence and frankly irrelevant. You did unfortunately highlight this on several occasions during your stay, including to the foreign nationals themselves. Both my F&B manager and duty manager spent considerable time with you throughout the evening dealing with many challenges that arose with you. It was at this point they informed you that you would be refused further bar service due to your demeanor.I was firstly made aware of your issue and behaviour only when i met you personally at reception where you opted to pull my arm and attempt to kiss me. I find this wholly unacceptable also.Subsequently, we did not refuse your multiple requests for a refund but we did advise that as your booking was paid through a separate agent, the request would need to be made with them directly. We cannot refund monies to your personal card when the rooms were not paid by yourself.Susan, i fully accept that as a hotel, we will indeed get things wrong from time to time and my sincerest apologies for any shortcoming we had.Best regards, Bob

Fantastic hotel, a little bit out of the way from the centre of Aberdeen but it didn’t spoil our stay, the food in the restaurant is amazing and the staff are great, would definitely recommend it and I’ll definitely book again in the future.

Villiage hotel Dyce
Nice fairly new hotel. Good amenities with gym, pool, coffee shop. Fairly basic burger orientated menu but tasty. My room had a mouldy ceiling and mould around shower tray which is dissappointing. Breakfast was good. Decent sausages!

Poor value on food
A little disappointed with poor value on food at restauarant. Took an offer to save 10% , but then it transpires than you have to order, starter, main & desert at the same time to qualify for this - unusally (and un expected) soft drinks are excluded from this voucher. And £4.25 for a dispensed Coke is a rip off. Staff and management uninterested about this. so our 10% saving turned into a 10% penalty. This is my regular Aberdeen hotel - but with the excellent ALoft nearby - this will no longer be my 1st choice. Little things make the difference .

Good stay, poor breakfast
I stay here regularly and always enjoy my stay, good sized rooms with comfortable beds. The big disappointment this Time was how much the breakfast selection and quality has gone down hill..

Hotel rooms well equipped and good; gym is excellent, restaurant bar didn’t have wine (but restaurant did), food (we were told up to 40 min wait, it turned up in 20 - really nice and wine! Young lady waiter was very good. Breakfast was a bit poor (wanted to sit one place, was told I had to sit another (because it was out of order of tables) - no fruit salad, porridge nice.

Rooms starting to look a little old. Carpets need cleaning. No waitress service for lunch on Monday. Really disappointed to see bar close at 10:15pm on Monday then get thrown into darkness at 11pm. Room rates this week were expensive and there are better higher value choices for less elsewhere in the city.

Breakfast was a shambles. Every table was dirty and needed cleared. We had dirty cups on our clean table. Buffet selection was poor and the bread was very stale.

We did have a large group staying with us the evening prior which has impacted the staff's speed of service and to to replenish some of the items. Poor food and loud gym music
The food is ridiculously expensive for what you get, a single soggy piece of lettuce in the 'gourmet burger' and that's it. Service was poor. Loud music starts at 7am sharp in the gym and will wake you up.

Disappointing
Requested to be moved rooms due to being woken early by the gym classes, reception staff weren’t the most cooperative. Appalling service in the restaurant, waiting over 30minutes for dessert. Long waits to be served even in a deserted restaurant. First time staying here having always stayed in other Village hotels, very disappointing.

Overall the hotel is pretty nice. Unfortunately I had a room (231) directly above the gym, so the 6am spin class hardcore dance music acted as a good alarm. The room also had vomit staining on the carpet beside the bed. Not great

My apologies for any disturbance caused.Having checked this room personally, i can assure you this is not a vomit stain. It is a small spillage mark that cannot be removed, possibly Irn bru or similar.
