The room is reasonably clean, certainly better than expected given the low review rating. The down side is the duvet cover already got fabric pilling, probably already too old. Car park also need extra charge…in this small town, at least there are plenty free parking for night time nearby.

Welcoming helpful receptionist who made us feel right at home. Likewise the house staff were polite, easy to get assistance from and seemed pleased to have us stay. The Arms is a budget accommodation without any glitter but does what you should expect for the price. Situated at the centre of Aberfeldy you can walk the entire town and it's natural and built gifts. Have said it before but the staff were excellent.

Parking was tricky. There is a car park but it was full. Therefore I angled my car in the middle of the car park, then got up really early to move it again. The staff are lovely. The room was charming. Great value for money. Location is pretty. Great as a pit stop for driving from Inverness to Edinburgh.

Small room which was adequate for me as u just wanted an overnight stay as I was travelling a long way and needed a rest from driving. I don’t think Expedia sent any information to me about parking costs or costs for my small dog. I thought £28 for a small dog overnight was very expensive. Expedia make this clear

I was in a single room very basic, clean enough. No usable mirror to blow dry hair. Window in room wouldn't close so a bit of noise from the street. I paid for parking but by the time I arrived which was after being out for the night, no parking available. I had to struggle around to find nearby parking. It was 9.30 before I got back to hotel. I had to put a code in at back door but felt that anyone could find the code as it was at reception and on front door.

The shower didn’t work and there was no hot water so showering was in a dribble of cold water. We did tell the girl on reception but never got fixed. The room was economy so maybe other rooms are better but if you want to close the door while on the toilet then defo pay more. Can’t watch tv in bed as it’s around the corner. The staff were lovely though just didn’t solve the problem and a shower is a must especially in 25 degree heat
