「We have often traveled through this area but wanted to stay and explore for a few days. We couldn't have chosen a better location! The casita was an enchanting historical building set in a breathtaking area. Floyd was so welcoming and gave us great advice of things to do and places to see in the area. Definitely the place to stay if you want to explore the beauty of northern New Mexico.」

「Lovely home in a beautiful place. We enjoyed the screened porch and the bedrooms with their own bathrooms were perfect for our 3 adult children and their partners. It was a great "home base" for visiting our friends in Abiquiu and at Ghost Ranch, shopping in Santa Fe, and hiking at Bandelier and in the Carson National Forest. We also enjoyed some quiet days doing art projects and birding around the house. A highlight was heading out to the road late one night to photograph the incredible night...

「This is a magical rustic studio w massive vigas, stone and stucco walls, a stone shower, and vintage accent furniture. Approach road is a bit dicey - unpaved and rutted - but view across the valley to the mountains from porch and windows is well worth the adventure. Owner provided clear and detailed directions and almost immediate responses; appreciated both. 」

The kitchen is so well equipped. We loved to sit on the balcony off the top floor bedroom and watch the world go by. The host is extremely nice. 「This place is beautiful. Every time we walked into the living room we were struck in awe of the windows...it is a live landscape that is stunning.」

「The cabin is spacious and well-equipped. We really enjoyed our stay. Don't try to google the address or you'll end up in the Brazos development to the South. I would suggest adding to the property directions to turn off Hwy 64 at County road 341. 」

「The perfect escape from humid E Texas. Great weather. Coffee on the patio every morning in sweats and shorts after brunch. Lazy drive to shopping/dining (is NM doing a passive aggressive protest of TX speed limits?), so stock up since you won’t want to leave anyway. This house makes you want to rent it for a month and write your novel」
