Marriott vacation in Accra
Had an enjoyable stay. Friendly and accommodating staff. Good food, from check-in to check-out all of the staff were wonderful and always enquired as to how /if they could make your stay better. Entertainment on site, spacious pool area and special treatment if you are a Bon Voy member. Staff were very knowledgeable about the area and gave suggestions as to places to visit. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Overall it’s a nice an convenient place to stay. The food is good too. The general condition of the room was clean however when I had to move the bed to retrieve my AirPod that fell and rolled under the bed I realized that the area under the bed was quite dusty and had one or two strips of platic sachet debris.

Great Hotel with a few minor hiccups
This was an excellent location, close to the airport and a mall. The people are great and staff are super friendly, they tried their best to make sure things were good but, at times feel short with minor stuff (ice, and slow with other requests). The air in my room and some parts of the hotel was poor and should be a lot stronger in terms of coolness.

I would say this is a typical Marriott hotel. If you’re American, you will feel comfortable since it’s similar to all Marriott’s in the states. The service isn’t the best as far as concierge. I didn’t feel like they were the most helpful. They are friendly just didn’t seem that knowledgeable. If you want any excursions, I recommend you book them on your own. The third-party that they work with is terrible. Room service came in a timely matter for nights that you don’t feel like going out. The room was clean, although the towels had a real weird smell so I did have to request new towels. They provide bottled water but their glass and they’re a little bit on the smaller side so I would recommend stopping at a grocery store to get bottled water if your someone who drinks a lot of water. Personally, I think the best thing about this hotel is the location.
