Tremendous Value

This place is a treasure. My room was fantastic. The staff was great, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. An incredible value in Italy. That night I went to the piazza where the mineral waters issue forth and enjoyed the night life, speaking with locals in my "rotto Italiano".

Vi hadde dessverre bare 1 overnatting her.

Very late arrival - No Problem

Our ferry from Corsica was late so I phoned and managed to make myself understood in dreadful French and was assured that this was no problem and to ring the night bell. We arrived at 1am and duly rang the bell to be greeted by the owner in his dressing gown who escorted us to our room, again assuring us that it was no problem. The room and facilities were modern, clean and well furnished and the breakfast was excellent.

Nice location

The room was small, but comfortable. There's no a/c in the fall or winter but fortunately it was cool outside so this didn't present a problem. Parking was free but was on the side of the hotel where there were two rows of cars with about 4 cars per row parallel parked one behind another. So when I was parked in, the hotel staff had to come out and move one of the cars so I could get out. A minor inconvenience. Parking is at a premium there so they have to pack as many cars as they can in the lot. The location was near the main part of the city which was right across the street.
