「Excellent location, amazing staff esp the chatty ladies at reception who helped with bags and even upgraded us!
Very short walk from the outlet place and port, also around 15m from town and bit more to the pier n beach.
Limited parking is the only thing but we got on right outside luckily!

The staff were very good, friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was excellent, a good range and very tasty.
The availability of free on street parking is a big bonus.

「A very historic old hotel with an excellent location and a 3-minute walk to the attractions you are interested in.
Strangely, the parking lot downstairs is not the hamilton hotel, but its sister hotel. So drivers have to go to the paid parking lot behind the hotel. It's a little inconvenient.」

The staff are friendly, unfortunately parking is not free and is quite expensive and they say there is parking in the area, unfortunately southsea/Portsmouth is on the ball with parking and is mostly only available for locals with a parking permits.
If you like pubs,bars and restaurants you are in the right area as there are loads around.
