「Very Satisfied with my stay. Clean, safe and convenient. Will definitely stay again. Best Regards, Jay」

「Great place - very clean and comfortable. Excellent communication with host. Would definitely book again!」

「Quiet area close to shops and restaurants and less than a 10 minute walk to the park. Jonathan was very accommodating with our pups and communication was quick and friendly. 」

「The kitchen and living room are defent but the bathroom has an odd/moldy odor. The bed is uncomfortable and the linens were raggedy. Strange/sketchy people going in and out of next door buildings wouldn't recommend」

「Great location…we walked many places. Friendly host. Pet friendly property. Loved the historic elements and neighborhood.」

「This is an amazing property right in the middle of everything. I will definitely be back to Gettysburg and will be using this property」

「We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very convenient to local attractions. I especially loved that both bedrooms had a King bed, which made it great for our couples trip.」

「It was wonderful to stay here. It felt like walking into history with everything in period. We loved the stay. Everything was walkable for restaurants and night life. It is only a half block from the historic ice cream shop.」

「It was thrilling to be staying in an actual building that was a witness to the battle of Gettysburg. The location was excellent; walking distance to just about everything. Communication with Rod was excellent, he responded almost immediately to emails and texts. The rental was clean and well stocked with everything you could need in the kitchen and bathroom. Was a bit concerned when we found out there was only one wall a/c for the entire rental, but considering we were there in 100+ degree...

「Our stay was awesome! The place was so cute, and clean. The owner was very thoughtful to include a guide to the area, as well as leaving out snacks and stocked up waters. Will be back for sure!」

「It was a great option when visiting Shippensburg University.」

「This is a very nice, comfortable, cozy and clean option for staying in the heart of Gettysburg. We found the parking behind the house very convenient as you can walk to any location in the town with ease- and sometimes it’s hard to find parking. Also the house itself is in very good condition with lots of room and amenities. We never once heard the people staying in the lower apartment. It felt very safe and private. Thank you for opening your doors and providing a non hotel option.」

「This was a wonderful 2 week stay. Mike and Jodi were great hosts and very prompt to assure our needs were met. Because of our ages, we had a problem with the bed height but Mike provided a stepstool and solved that issue. There is a train very close by that provides an automatic alarm daily at 8 am. We ate dinner out or had nuked leftovers so were ok with not having a kitchen. The porch is lovely to sit any time of the day and Cookie, their dog is a sweetie. I can recommend these owners and...

「We arrived late due to traffic and construction. The host was very good with communicating everything we needed to know. If we are in the area again, we will definitely be back.」

「Communication was great and the property was clean and well appointed. Thank you!」

「Close to downtown Gettysburg made our trip easier」

「It was quite clean. No 'staff' to deal with. Kitchen and bath area quite clean and adequate. I'm 6-foot, 0-inches tall. Shower stall had a direct, overhead 8" shower-head, maybe 6 foot, 4 inches high... would prefer a hand-held shower head, but that's just my personal preference. Otherwise, ceilings in Kitchen and Bath/Shower room areas were quite adequate and could stand straight with plenty of ceiling space. Banged my head pretty well on the low ceiling portion in first 5 minutes of entering...

「Lots of nice amenities! Wonderful kitchen!」
