Explore the 40 acres, including Mallory Creek, and even walk to the Rockfish Valley Community Center to get a cup of locally brewed coffee, shop, or attend a festival. It's a short drive to Wintergreen, Charlottesville, and Waynesboro. Visit UVA, Monticello, Carter Mountain, Swannanoa, and more.

The location was perfect for our Vineyard tours and easy access to grocery and convenience stores, etc. Even though we were close to many places the location allowed us privacy and beautiful views of the mountains and sunsets. Perfect home and location

The home was beautiful and private and very clean. Beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed watching deer every morning out back. It is so close to all the Nellysford attractions and we had a great time. The owner is super responsive if you have any questions too. Thanks for a great stay. Coming back to the house in May.

Amanda was extremely responsive and great to work with. Wedding was at a nearby winery. We had up to 10 family members staying at the house. The house was perfect to accommodate everyone. The location is perfect for visiting nearby wineries. Stunning view from the house without needing to go up a winding road.

Perfect house, perfect location. My wife and I met our sisters and their husbands for a fantastic weekend in this beautiful area. Close to our favourite vineyard, Veritas and with beautiful hikes this house ticks all the boxes.

Amazing views and great location!

We stayed here with friends for a weekend of visiting local breweries. We were so close to everything on the Nelson 151. We would return and recommend this new home to others. Owner was easy to communicate with. House was well stocked. We enjoyed an evening with the firepit and amazing views in the backyard.

Beautiful thanksgiving week

We loved our stay! What a gorgeous house, nicely secluded without much noise, but also close to nearby attractions/breweries/vineyards/hiking/etc. The house was perfect for our 3 families to gather for a week during the thanksgiving holiday. Beautifully finished and so much common area/hangout space so we could spread out. The master suite is so so nice.. we kept joking that the master closet could have been it’s own little bedroom lol. The deck and view from the back of the house is stunning, we loved using the binoculars to look at the deer and birds. The house was surprisingly well stocked. Had all of the kitchen gear we needed, SO many puzzles and games for all ages, fire pit/etc. Amanda was very responsive to any questions/concerns we had and was a wonderful host. Definitely exceeded our expectations and we’ll hope to return at some point in the future!! Thank you for such a lovely stay. :)

This new home has amazing views all around. It is tucked behind a small hill right off of 151, so it has privacy, but is close to amazing wineries, breweries, and hiking trails. We had plenty of room both inside and outside, and everyone said that the beds were comfortable. We found everything we needed for a great weekend with friends!

Great mountain views near breweries and vineyards

The photos don’t do this house justice. The view from the back deck: deer grazing on the huge field behind the house, cows grazing on the hill behind that, and the misty mountains and sunsets beyond. Beautiful large new house, fully stocked with everything we needed. Very close to the best breweries and wineries. Amanda was a great host and was always in contact if needed. We’ll definitely be back!
