「Sligo was such a quiet and charming place. We enjoyed our time there. We stayed in Riverside Hotel for 1 night, the very spacious room, nice staff and delicious food gave us very good impression. The room was just face the river, which had amazing view. After checking out for days, we met some unhappy misunderstanding with the hotel, but finally the hotel management dealt with it effectively.」

「Friendly, helpful staff and massive rooms compared to any of the 100’s of North American rooms we’ve stayed in. Pool was great but the picture of the pool with bouncy castle for toddlers / kids was not there. Maybe it was a special occasion when the picture of pool on website was taken. My toddler still had fun in kids pool and bigger pool with water wings. Lots of free parking in hotel parking lots if you have a vehicle. Overall experience was a 4.5* and would definitely stay there again.」

「A fantastic place to stay. My elderly parents required an ensuite and this fitted the bill perfectly. Fresh flowers greeted us on the fining table. Great selection of leaflets showing you things to do in the west coast of Ireland. 「Fairly convenient. But felt like I was staying at someone's home rather than a guest house if that makes sense - No signage out front or anything to identify it as a guest house. Mary was feiendly, front of house very clean. Bathroom looked amazing, but shower ran between scorching hot and freezing cold, very difficult to shower in.
