“The views were great, the beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the eco concept. This felt a little more like glamping than luxury accommodations though. We were told there is no hot water in the kitchen at all and that the upstairs may be cold because it had been cloudy - this possibility would have been good to know prior to booking. Something made a loud consistent knocking noise on the roof of the bedroom with the windows - so much that we changed rooms. Overall, the place is a bit dingy……

“The property setting allowed us to totally relax inside and out. The pool was clean and not too chlorinated. The immediate neighborhood is quiet, and the management is super responsive. A variety of nice beaches are within a 30-minute drive. Plenty of supermarkets around. I wouldn’t say it’s a cook's kitchen, but we cooked almost all of our meals at the property. Just what we needed after a harsh New England winter.”

“3.5Host was very welcoming and friendly, and quick to respond to our messages when we needed help or supplies. The pool was exceptionally clean and well taken care of! It would be very beneficial to have full supply of cutlery and kitchen utensils. We ended up purchasing a paring knife to use, since there was only one large knife. The room with the bunk beds only had one set of bunk beds & one queen bed. The AC in every room was heavenly! Rental has 3 designated parking spots, which was really……

“We had a lovely experience staying three weeks in Aguada. The house is a couple of blocks from the ocean in a quiet rural setting. We enjoyed the nicely set up veranda behind the house with comfy chairs. It was especially delightful to listen to the many birds during the day and the coqui frogs at night. Jannette, the owner, was friendly and helpful. She lives right next door so any time we needed anything she was there in literally five minutes. The house was scrupulously clean and well set up……
