Magnificent Home away from home

From the moment we arrived Phillipe and Beatrice had won our hearts. Campagne Chastel was perfect. We loved everything about it, especially having wine and cheese in their beautiful yard. Phillips told us everything we needed to know to make our 8 day stay so memorable. We cannot wait to return.

Fantastic property!

We enjoyed this property tremendously. We used it as our base camp while we explored Aix and the surrounding areas each day. We so enjoyed coming back and having a swim and relaxing in and near the beautiful pool. We used the BBQ a few times and really enjoyed eating outdoors in the garden. The bedrooms and beds were very comfortable- with lovely linens. Philippe and Beatrice were very kind and thoughtful hosts. Highly recommend this property!

A perfect week in Provence

Fantastic, with a large upstairs area and bathrooms, modern yet provincial charm.Philippe and Beatrice gave us privacy but were there if you needed them. They helped us plan and had lots of information on the local area. Lots of outdoor space and pool was beautiful. They met us with refreshments and the hospitality continued, Philippe picked us up from the bus. He also showed us some lavender fields on our last morning.

Lovely gem in great location

This is a beautiful property, a charming converted farmhouse run by a lovely couple. Philippe and Beatrice are kind, welcoming (they baked us a cake!), and very helpful with suggestions for what to see and where to eat; they truly treated us like family. Before our stay, questions were answered promptly. The apartment is clean and comfortable and attractive. Just a few minutes drive to get into Aix-en-Provence, where you can park and explore the charming town by foot. Aix itself is well-situated for exploring Provence, being fairly central and not far from Avignon, Cassis, the Luberon, Arles, etc. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Provence.

We had an amazing time at Campagne Chastel. We had really fantastic hosts in Phillippe & Beatrice. They are really wonderful and warm people and made us feel very at home. They gave us lots of advice and local guidance. The House was beautiful, quiet and kept really well. Everything was clean we had all the supplies we needed. We had all the necessary facilities and felt very comfortable. The Swimming pool was really lovely and very well maintained. We had the perfect relaxing stay at the Chastel! We will stay again for sure.

Great place and location

We very enjoyed our stay. The hosts are very gracious and helpful, and the house and grounds are beautiful. The location makes Aix-en-Provence very accessible, and overall one can make many day-trips by car to the environs. We highly recommend it.
