"Good breakfast, view, and rooms. Because of that I didn’t give a 1 star. What really set me off was that I got charged $100 for getting the towels a little dirty to where it would only take a single wash cycle to clean! “Ohh it’s part of the contract which we have but don’t have anyone read”. Which is for obvious reasons of course. I’m not going here again because of the lack of transparency on how they overcharge for insignificant “damages”! Did cause $100usd in damages in making a towel dirty? Absolutely not! The towels wouldn’t even achieve $5 in valuation in even the most insane circumstances! "
"Great spot for the price in off season - the Spa wasn’t very good, sauna & hot tubs weren’t very hot + the massage was average. Nice that they had free shuttles into town throughout the day & a solid gym!"
"We arrived on a Thursday, the hotel is so beautiful, awesome location, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, our room was beautiful, and we had a great view. We went to bed around midnight and starting hearing music. Very loud music. I have a white noise generator and put it right next to my ear but still I could still hear it. It went on until 5 am. The next day I asked if we could change rooms because of the music being so loud and the lady said we could but we would still hear it. She said it was a disco/ bar that was nearby. I read in the reviews that there was street noise but nothing about live music that you could "feel" the thump of the bass drum and bass guitar. Surprisingly, Friday there was no music and we slept well even with the occasional loud motorcycle or truck. Saturday night around midnight we got into bed and around 12:30 a band started playing and did not stop until almost 6am. Loud unrelenting music again. We checked out the next morning as planned totally tired from lack of sleep, which made for a long travel day. So, if you can't sleep with loud music, don't stay there. Otherwise it's an awesome hotel. P.S. I am also hard of hearing and wear hearing aids."
"We stayed 2 nights, without a car and both nights we had a power outage from 1900-2300, literally just after checking in the first nights when needing to charge phones and showers. Apparently not the accommodations fault yet the hotel across the road had power.
I mention without a car, as this place is not convenient at all if you don't have one.
Lovely place, helpful staff but I wouldn't consider it for less than 3-4 nights and without a car. Ensure you have a power bank. "
"EXCELLENT location of the hotel. Away from the tourist hub and frequent port traffic. Clean and spacious rooms with a perfect view of the mountains.
