We didn't speak to any staff but were able to navigate the site and get into the room with ease. Room was clean and spacious, amenities were great for a campsite with cabins
Friendly staff and the cottage was great (perfect for four of us - plenty of room and in a quiet part of the camp). Early morning on the first day, and shower was fine. Second day, later start and no pressure or hot water in the shower.
The Camp has a huge compound, ideal if you’re traveling with a Pet. The location is closed by Wanaka and not too far from Queenstown so pretty convenient.
The place is quiet and has the basic facilities you need
2nd time staying here, 1st time in the cabins, lots of room, bonus having a kettle and fridge unlike another camp down the road that we stayed the night before. Bathrooms always clean and conveniently located.
Clean, comfy cabins. Good location - close to wanaka and on the edge of Lake Hawae which was lovely. Just a note, you need to rent any kitchen equipment here which is fine but something to keep in mind when planning.
We rented the family cottage and it was the best. Had an excellent time and it was very clean. There is a food truck as well. The camp at lake hawea was by far our fav stay. Will visit again. - canada.
