“Phenomenal hotel all around: Location: Impeccable. Couldn’t have asked for something more central for access to trains and attractions. Located on a hill like many other places in Lisbon :) Staff: super helpful, accommodating and incredibly friendly. Best service we received throughout our entire Portugal trip Cleanliness: I think every time I walked through this hotel I saw some cleaning - absolutely impeccable. Rooms: incredibly spacious for a downtown accommodation. Basically soundproof……

“The best things about this hotel are (1) the wonderful staff, most friendly and helpful, (2) the comforting multipurpose living/dining room/open kitchen, (3) the Bairro Alto neighborhood, with delightful surprises at every turn. The disappointments are (1) the lack of views, despite the hotel’s name, (2) our tiny room with practically zero space/hangers for personal items or movements, and (3) what little surfaces the room has were taken over by senseless knick-knacks. An area for easy……

“The location was between major attractions. It definitely needed an Uber trolley to and from places as it was up hill. The Uber was more convenient than the trolley to the train station. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was available but required you to order and would take 30 minutes for 10 Euros. We did not have breakfast with them. We walked up the street to a bakery. We had two bedroom suite which was ideal with two teenagers. Everyone had their space. We enjoyed our day trip to……

“If you’re used to four- or five-star hotels, you may want to think twice before booking this one. I read the reviews beforehand, and I fully agree with those who mentioned the property’s shortcomings. The “continental breakfast” was extremely minimalistic—what continent have they been to where this counts as breakfast? The spiral staircase between the first and second floors were never lit, so guests had to use their phone flashlights to make sure they didn’t trip and fall. And good luck if you……

“Checking in was very smooth. The hotel contacted me in advance and was ready for our arrival. Checked us in, helped with our luggage and gave us some very useful local insights to the restaurants nearby. During our stay they even gave us a nice surprise, to help us enjoy the wonderful city and area even more. We had a balcony overlooking the street to ourselves, though we didn't use it, as it was way too hot outside, but it was still nice to know we had one to use, if we wanted. The location……
