“We absolutely love Walnut Cottage. It is like a home from home, so cosy and comfortable. The owners and the caretaker are so lovely and helpful. The kitchen has everything we need. We love the fire and the garden and the cottage is beautiful. We always take our dogs and they love it too. Lots of nice walks locally, lots of shops nearby for food shopping and lovely places to visit. The road outside can be busy but inside we don’t notice and the cottage more than makes up for it. “Had a lovely one night stay in the beautifully decorated and accessorised accommodation. Bed very comfortable, every comfort you could wish for provided. Peaceful, provided breakfast in patio garden when we saw a deer slowly walk through front garden. What a treat! Recommended!”

“Lovely old cottage and we had a great time. There are a few things guests should be aware of. We didn't realise the opening to the bedroom upstairs was only 4 feet 2 height until after booking. We managed but others might not especially if you need to get up in the night- bathroom is downstairs. As 2 guests have to sleep in the annexe 2 keys to the main front door should be provided rather than having to wait for people in main house to get up. Annexe needs a WiFi booster. Plus a small welcome……

“Very nice quaint cottage everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bed very comfy. The only downside for me was the very steep narrow stairs but were manageable. The owner was very nice and helpful lovely breakfast basket left in the kitchen with bacon eggs tomatoes bread butter and milk. A fire made in the grate just needed lighting. I had a very pleasant stay would definitely stay there again.”

“We stayed at the apartment for four nights while visiting family in the area and had a great experience. The apartment is spacious, very well equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There are two flights of stairs to access the apartment — this wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s something to bear in mind for guests with mobility considerations. That said, the beautiful sea views more than make up for it. Communication with the host was excellent throughout — very prompt……
