Aletsch Glacier Apartments

Aletsch arena, longest glacier in the Alps.
The best way to access it is to take the cable car from Fiesch to Fiescheralp, and then from Fiescheralp to Eggishorn.
Many just enjoy the view from the top, but the best way to experience this wonderful place, is to do a 4-5 hours loop round the Eggishorn.

"Leider funktionierte die Weitergabe meiner Informationen durch interhome nicht. So wussten die Gastgeber nicht, obwohl bei der Buchung bereits angegeben, wann ich ankommen würde. Die ganze Familie wartete auf mich bis ich um 20.15 Uhr endlich eintraf! Ich buchte ursprünglich für 2 Personen, aber kam dann alleine. "Wunderschönes Studio in toller Lage, absolut gigantischer Ausblick. Der Balkon ist praktisch ein weiteres Zimmer mit Blick auf die Gemmi bzw. Richtung Rhonetal. Das Haus ist ausgesprochen sauber und ruhig. Die abschließbare Garage ist sehr praktisch, Einrichtung funktioniert, Küche vom Geschirr her für echte Selbstversorger etwas mager ausgestattet, aber guter Herd u Backofen, Kühlschrank mit 3-Sterne-Fach. "This place was very adorable and quaint. It was as technologically updated, there are many assecible plugs in the room but it's an older building. They put a multiplug box on the desk in the room which is very convenient. As others have said in their reviews, it is up a very steep hill. Unfortunately, i am so out of shape that i was dying for a couple minutes before going to check in, haha. However, it is a very short walk, so if you have no mobility issues, "

"Overall very positive experience, reception staff were very attentive and went out of the way to accommodate our earlier check-in. The room was really nice and clean, and we ended up staying in the hotel which was a bonus! Breakfast staff, particularly on Sunday morning, unfortunately did let the staff down, as they came across quite rude and unfriendly. "

"I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The location was perfect. Looking at the mountains and snow falling every morning and evening was a dream. Easy access to restaurants, COOP grocery store and equipment rentals. Train is a 10 minute walk to get to the lifts and main skiing areas. The staff is amazing at Hotel Spinne, they were helpful and friendly. It was raining one of the evenings we were going out and they had umbrellas to use for guests. We also were leaving in the morning before breakfast was served and they offered to prepare us a breakfast to be delivered to our room the night before. When i tell you we could not have been more grateful for that as we had a 5hr travel ahead of us with tight train connections. Truly above and beyond hotel. Highly recommend and I will definitely stay here again. "
