"Efficiently checked in by very attractive receptionist who could be a contestant for the Miss Andalucia contest The hotel is in the same building as the bus station so it’s very convenient for the bus to and from Lalinea and the border crossing into Gibraltar. Also less than 10 minutes walk to the ferry terminal. Very good, very comfortable reasonably priced hotel in a provincial town"

"Stayed for 8 nights with two friends. The reception staff were very welcoming speaking both Spanish and English. The room was a good size for 3 people and the beds comfortable. The rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard. The water from the shower did seem to get onto the bathroom floor somehow but this is a minor gripe. The fridge and air conditioning in the room both worked and there is also tea and coffee making facilities. There is also a TV in the room with a number of Spanish speaking channels. There is a good size pool which is treated with salt rather than chlorine which is a bonus. Plenty of sunbeds and a good sized seating area. Drinks and food can be ordered from the bar. There is also a restaurant however I am unable to comment on the food as we ate out every day. The beach is a 20 minute walk away and buses are available directly outside the hotel. The town centre is also walkable however it is along a busy road. This is my second stay at Hotel Alboran and I would highly recommend it. "

"We had a wonderful time at Bridget’s house - it was our second visit and it is just perfect place for a family holiday - including grandparents and kids! We loved visiting the beach every day and spending time by the pool. Visits to Algeciras were also fun. Thank you for having us! "
