St. Petersburg - Clearwater Alligator & Wildlife Discovery Center Hotels

"The staff was extremely friendly. Beach access was convenient. Close to stores, restaurants, coffee, etc. Room was nice but bathroom could have been both updated and cleaner. Old tub and fixtures instead of walk-in shower. Shower head needed a good cleaning. It was listed as 2 queen beds (I could not get a king) but honestly the bed seemed more like a double than a queen. My husband and I were not very comfortable. Additionally, I was surprised upon arrival when access to the room was external like a motel. However, it did appear that most properties in this area were like that. It was loud as well with the bars and lives music in close proximity. I mention these things only because I felt the nightly rate was high considering these items. For the price I would have expected a bit more. I would consider staying here again but would book earlier for a king and a balcony room. "

You could only get drinking water from one bottle filler for the whole resort and it was not functioning properly while we were there (4 nights). Blinking red light. Only other option one vending machine. Would be nice to have a good coffee option in room"

"The room was clean, but very, very small, not as depicted in the pictures at all. It was close to everything and if you squinted really hard from the balcony all the way down to the left, you could see the water.. We are all good natured people, and we had a great time, but it certainly was not reflective of the hotel."

"Such a beautiful place, it’s like having your own hotel! We had so much space for our family/grandparents and really enjoyed all the amenities. We had a few hiccups with the pool/spa not heating properly but it was mainly because it was so cold while we were there. The host maintained great communication with us and was always available whenever we had questions. We would absolutely stay here again and loved all the nearby places in the area as well. Next time we need to bring more family along so they can enjoy it with us! "
