"If you are looking for a quiet and out of the way place to stay then this is definitely it! Part of the old farm house I guess, the cottage is very well appointed even to an air fryer. There is also a lovely garden. Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay, hopefully longer next time, we will return….."

"We really enjoyed our stay! The listing said it had a hot tub but when we arrived it didn’t. I read after that the external company listed it incorrectly. The only down side was the property wasn’t cleaned very well - old used contact lenses around the desk and bedside table and there was hairs on the bathroom shelf. I did a quick clean myself and throughly enjoyed the rest of our week the location was perfect and our lodge was next to the pond which was lovely."

"Using the shower over the bath the water was not draining even thiugh the pug was open, i had to pull it right out for the bath to empty and then i realised it was because it was blocked with thick hairs so had not had a proper clean in a while. Other than that it was a lovely place to stay, comfortable and welcoming. It had all you needed including a washing machine and dishwasher. This makes life easier especially when you are on holiday."

"Cant fault any aspect of our stay. From the beginning to the end it was excellent. Sarah is an amazing host and the communication from booking the property till the end of our stay was 5*. "The cottage is beautiful, cosy and so quiet. We love the location as its a hidden gem. A quiet, beautiful corner of the lakes, with plenty of walks in the area. We enjoyed starting some of our walks from the cottage. Not far from keswick and amenities. A great stay"

"I wouid recommend this property but would make sure other guests jnow there is nothing within walking distance and a car is needed to get ro the nearest pub/supermarket. The property was lovely but the blinds needed dusting, there were dirty towels in the washing machine and the laminate on the tables was taped up."
