Great All Season Log House in Alpine,WY

  • This Cabin is Located in Alpine, WY 36 miles Jackson Hole. It is in the trees and has great mountain views. Only 42 miles to Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park north of that. There is world class fishing in the Snake, Greys and Salt and Hobback rivers, all with in 20 miles of the house. Apline is also home to the Greys River Snowmobile trailhead. A great snowmobile area with hundreds of miles of groomed trails. You can ride from the house! The first floor of the house has two bedrooms with a bathroom which has a large tub. The third bedroom is a large loft upstairs with its own bathroom and is open to the great room below. There is a huge wrap around porch and a private balcony off the loft master. The kitchen and living area are one of a kind! Please feel free to give me a call to ask about my property or the area. I am an 18 year resident and happy to help out in any way.

The property was terrific. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The home was in a beautiful setting, well equipped, very clean. I would definitely recommend this home. If I am ever back this way I would stay there again.

The cabin is very nice and turns out to be very much like the representation and photos that appear online. It has an excellent kitchen and a wonderful wrap-around deck with a second floor balcony. Very nice. The interior woodwork is notable (walls, ceiling & floors), and the kitchen is beautiful. The kitchen has all the needed furnishings and fittings for cooking a full meal. The dining/eating area was more than big enough for 7 people. The living area has changed a bit from the pics found online, and there is a large-screen TV to the left of the fireplace. Some of the chairs/finishings seem a little run-down - but nothing major. Lighting is good. The upstairs loft area is nice, but the steps/staircase up to this second floor are very steep. Kids had trouble with it, and that made us a bit nervous. Overall, this is one of the better places we have rented.

Amazing Log home

We were so fortunate to be able to stay in this beautiful log home. So cozy, clean, and animal friendly place I would highly recommend this home to anyone who loves beautiful views. A comfortable place to lay your head at night,, after enjoying the beautiful surroundings of this area I highly recommend the Yankee Doodle Cafe, and Rockin M Ranch to go horse back riding.

Trip To Teton's

Great location and property. Very scenic area close to snake river. A little south of Jackson in Alpine. (Half hour drive) Had grocery store and restaurants close by. We really enjoyed playing cards and cooking out on the deck after a day of hiking. Would come back and stay again.

This was a great “Cabin in the woods!” It has a very warm and cozy feeling. It’s very quiet, with an amazing view of the mountain from the balcony. Shawn was very prompt is answering any question and even called to make sure we made it in OK. It’s about a 45min drive to Jackson Hole through the pass, along the Snake River. The kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking utensils you need and the washer and dryer came in very handy!! The only downside for us was, this cabin does not have an AC and makes no mention of it in the write up. Being from Texas, we’d almost die without it. The cabin does stay cooler than expected, but at night, even with the windows open, there is no air flow because there are no fans in the bedrooms, except for the one upstairs in the loft that makes a constant whining noise. We bought one from the local hardware store. Keeping a box fan in each bedroom closet would be a good idea during the summer months. Having said all that, we would definitely consider staying here again, as it is very clean with great charm and quiet surroundings.

Alpine Cabin in the woods

This cabin is exactly what we were looking for. Great location, comfortable, spacious, rustic and clean. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds are comfortable! We will definitely stay here again the next time we come out to Alpine. Shawn answered lol of my questions in a timely manner. Thanks, Barry
