  • Discover this hidden, pet friendly, gem in Huntingdon County — a peaceful cabin tucked in the woods and surrounded by forest and pipelines on three sides. It’s an incredibly private retreat with outdoor spaces that guests consistently rave about.

    Outdoor Spaces
    The covered porch is the heart of the property and the most-loved feature. Rain or shine, day or night, it’s a tranquil place to relax. Twinkle lights, a fairy tree, wind chimes, and plenty of seating create a magical atmosphere perfect for making memories.
    You’ll also enjoy a fire pit for campfires and marshmallow roasting, plus ample outdoor dining space.

    The Cabin & Bunkhouse
    This 2,200 sq ft cabin, along with the nearby bunkhouse, offers a warm and welcoming escape for your vacation or weekend getaway. You’ll be just 20 minutes from Raystown Lake, 20 minutes from Juniata College, and 10 minutes from 1,000 Steps and downtown Huntingdon — plenty to explore.

Walked into a very clean, well stocked cabin. This cabin has absolutely everything you could need for your stay. The covered porch was so cute with all of the lighting, they even included citronella candles to keep the bugs away! We would love to come back and stay again in the future!

Nice quiet cabin in the woods. We had a great trip and the host went above and beyond to provide so many extra amenities at this property. We would definitely stay again.

Relaxing Getaway

The cabin was cozy. It is in a nice and quiet area which made it relaxing. The rooms are comfortable and we had family stay in the bunkhouse which was nice as well. Good size property and plenty of things to do near by. We had a wonderful time here and would definitely stay again.

We didn't hunt, fish, or hike (like everyone else) because this place is so cute and comfy!We also felt quite secure with Lenny the Sasquatch patrolling the perimeter. Loved it!!!

This was our 3rd time staying here and it was Beautiful and Amazing as always. This time we also added the New Bunkhouse which is Perfect! Melissa is a Wonderful Host!! We would give it 10 stars if we could! We were already talking about booking another stay here. Highly Recommend.

Home away from home

This property was by far the best rental I’ve ever stayed in. It was fully stocked with absolutely anything you would ever need whether that be household items, games, or references for things to do in the area. We had an absolutely amazing time! So clean and charming! Lots of character, you can tell that many happy memories have been made on this property.

The Perfect Place @ The Lake

Our group travels fairly frequently and can be particular about our experience in terms of communication, cleanliness, ease of access to the property and accommodations. I can say without hesitation that this was one of our best experiences. We were granted early check in, had timely communication with any questions we had and the place was spotless. The Cabin cottage was in excellent condition. It was clean and very relaxing. The host made sure every little item was taken care of. Quiet place to stay!

This cottage is in a very peaceful location, no traffic noise. We had breakfast on the screen- in porch while listening to many birds singing in the woods. It is very clean and has a great kitchen. We would go back again.

Beautiful Getaway

Was very pleased at how beautiful the property was decorated. Melissa has fully stocked and furnished the home with the essentials. The bunk house was amazing. also. Melissa was very responsive, and property was as described. Will definitely stay there again.

Family stayed for a long weekend. Had everything we needed. The covered outdoor patio was the best. Spent lots of time reading and playing card games. Loved all the little notes to help acclimate us to the property.

Family getaway with fur babies.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cottage on Pine.The weather was not totally cooperative, so the covered porch allowed us to still be outdoors. The owner was very responsive. They supplied paper products, bath items, spices and coffee. I was told, just bring your toothbrush, food and clothes.We put those that snore in the very nice bunkhouse.
