「Great Cabin!」

「We had a great stay!」

「We had a most wonderful 4 day stay and really maximized our time spent at “the oak”. We didn’t want to leave and could have easily doubled our stay. Lots of things to do from hiking the property’s trail to listening to records, such as the Eagles and Frank Sinatra. This place is a gem!」

「The cabin was so unique! All of the small details in decorating the cabin added to the appeal. The small lake was very peaceful; along with great kayaking, swimming, and fishing. The only issue was hiking up and down to the lake after rain fall was a bit challenging. This is a great location to settle down after hiking in the Hocking Hills. Just make sure you use your 4 wheel drive,as the road up is steep and rough!」

「Place was exactly what we were looking for. Nestled in the woods with a pond walking distance to fish in. Beautiful Grounds. Very clean and nicely decorated. Bathrooms were updated. Loved the gas stove. My only complaint was Wish you had some baking dishes 13x9 or 8x8. I wanted to make a cake and only had cookie sheets. And we could not get the ceiling fan in the great room to work. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property.」

「Generally great but the utility is not maintained very well, such as air conditioner.」

「Everything was perfect. Liked that there were plenty of local restaurants in the area to choose from.」

Entrance to the hotel wasn't marked very clearly, so in the dark and not being familiar with the area made it difficult for us to find the entrance. Our room was nice but still had some safety issues (bathroom outlet had only 1/2 cover plate, exposing wiring and wall insides). Exterior around back doorway was a bit scary, as it backs up to run-down school bus and dark woods, and outdoor lighting wasn't very bright. During our stay the...

「We love it here and so do our pups!!! Great hotel and looooove the little dog park!」

「We come to hocking hills every year with our kids, this was our favorite place we have ever stayed in. The view was beautiful, the house itself is big , and the theater room was our FAVORITE. Almost every kitchen utensil available (not common) , plenty of seating , big yard for games and activities, we had a bathroom shower drain issue and they were super efficient and communication was amazing. They came and fixed it same day within a couple hours. If I could give it 100/10 I would. Thank you...

「Nice place. Kids liked the game room. Hot tub was nice. Great view from the patio.」
