“Our compact pansiyon with beautiful views across the bay was good value for money. We had a hilarious time with the obliging owner and his family, who do not speak English, trying to convey our needs. With neighbours roped in to help we soon felt part of the community. It was a delightful stay away from the usual tourist traps. The Yildez Cafe opposite is perfect for breakfast.”

“As an option for budget travellers this place is perfect. Do not be deterred by the entrance, once you are on the top floor Levent keeps the place exceedingly clean. There is a communal fridge and room kettles. Levent was super helpful- reachable on WhatsApp and willing to give us an extra blanket and a pillow. Given noisy nightlife, it is helpful to be on the top floor as you are in the centre of town moments from the beach. Cash payments are preferred. ”
