Great location close to town centre but in a quiet horse shoe.

Great location close to town centre but in a quiet horse shoe. Cottage is lovely n warm, cosy, good amenities, clean and comfortable, just a little dated but really worked for us with bikes, wet kit and lots of space. It’s not as luxurious as some but that didn’t bother us.

Lovely cottage tucked away in a corner of Ambleside, but right at the heart of the town. Well equipped and with plenty of space to put all your stuff, even if its wet. Off road parking - which is a real bonus and the added attraction of pool table and table tennis downstairs. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Just had 3 nights in Glenmore Cottage (our second visit). The cottage was extremely clean, well equipped and comfortable. It is in a quiet area, and the parking behind the cottage is very convenient. It is only a few minutes walk from shops and other amenities. The front garden is a little restful spot to sit out when the sun shines. Ambleside was extremely busy as were many other areas of the Lake District, as people start to come away after lock down, and it was difficult at times to achieve social distancing because of the narrow pavements, small shops and busy traffic. Overall we had a very restful short break and would go back there in the future. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Excellent cottage with great games room in basement.

Excellent cottage with great games room in basement. Cleaning before we arrived was excellent especially comforting in COVID times. Just a short walk in to Ambleside. Rear parking a bit narrow if you have a large car SUV but ok with care. Fantastic walks without having to drive. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
