With two additional 2-person cottages, the estate can accommodate up to 18, with cottages bookable separately. The house features a stylish Neff kitchen, large dining room, spacious lounge with log fire, playroom, snug, laundry room and garden. We had a great stay with extended family in this immaculate property over Easter. The place was phenomenal, beautifully presented, with bags of character. The garden was lovely, and the sitting room was super cosy with the open fire. Lots of games for the kids, too. We'd love to stay here again, it was a real find!

A truly wonderful home away from home in a beautiful location. Lois was tremendously accomodating throughout the entire process. We had the main house and adjoining cottages for a group of 18. The house is well sized for a large group, the bedrooms are all decent sizes, multiple bathrooms and maintained to a good starndard. The house is full of character, loved the fireplace in the main lounge and all the amenities even for children. Would recommend for anyone looking a for special place to spend a weekend away with family & friends.

We loved this house for our three generational family weekend. Lots of space, fabulously equipped kitchen, rooms all lovely, very homely feel. Toy room a hit with the kids as was the playpark opposite. Parking three big cars was a bit of a juggling act as entrance very narrow, but also small amount of parking opposite if needed. About 1 minute from Hill Top farm, 5 mins to Windermere, fab short walk to Moss Eccles Tarn for a swim was the favourite though. 5 mins to Coop for supplies if needed. Would love to come back again in the future. Thanks so much.

Well equipped traditional Lakeland home

Situated in a small hamlet, with a great local pub (reservations for food required in advance) and stunning walks from the doorstep, it is a spacious house with everything you might need for a comfortable stay.

Very comfortable and spacious house.Very well equipped.Comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms excellent for a large family.Central heating did not come on automatically but there were heaters and we made use of log fire.

Comfortable, well equipped house in lovely location

Lovely location, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, garden to enjoy, peaceful surroundings, good walking from the house. Need to bring your own soap/shower gel. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely house in a nice location

Very impressed with the house. It's very nice and spacious with various rooms. We stayed here as a group of 10 and there was plenty of space. The home has all of the necessities and more! The kids absolutely loved the play room and so did we! A very nice house in a great location with pubs and restaurants nearby. We had a great stay!
