This second floor apartment situated in Ambleside sleeps four people.
The Space:
High Ridge is a welcoming second floor apartment situated in Ambleside within the Lake District National Park. This apartment sleeps four people and has a double bedroom, twin bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room. Ambleside has plenty to see and do, whilst nearby are Lake Windermere, where you can enjoy a ride on the Windermere Steamer, visit Lakeside with the Aquarium of the Lakes or William Wordsworth house. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome. Please note: There is no parking at this property
The Neighborhood:
Ambleside is situated at the northern tip of Lake Windermere offering a great base to explore the area. Ambleside has a number of shops, restaurants and pubs, as well as the annual rushbearing ceremony and the 17th century “Bridge House”. Also cruises, boat trips and watersports can be enjoyed on Lake Windermere.

Property has great potential. Cleanliness disappointing and a couple of maintenance concerns.
Initial impressions, lovely flat in great location. Modern fittings and furnishings.
Unfortunately we had to clean every room, the bath, kitchen utensils and equipment. (Didn't use microwave as couldn't face cleaning. Suggest this is taken up ASAP with whoever is responsible for preparing the property between guests.
Also, nothing on boiler to indicate that it has ever been serviced, no certificate. Red call point for fire alarm system was smashed.
