True to its name this charming Cottage is a romantic hideaway like no other. The interior has been designed for couples who want their time together at home to be as special as their time exploring the lake district. Within the conservation area yet only two minutes into the many delights available including restaurants, pubs and local shops. Wake up to a wonderful, ever changing view over Ambleside village to the Lakeland fells, stroll to the lake shore for a romantic cruise, dine in together or enjoy an evening out, explore the fells or relax at home, Valentine Cottage is a memorable retreat at any time of year.

Traditional character blends with contemporary features.

Private parking for 1 car, right outside Valentine Cottage. Enter through a traditional porch to the spacious open-plan living area with leather furnishings, wood-burning stove, dining and kitchen area fitted with up to date appliances for luxury holiday living along with a good wifi connection. A shower room and a neat utility area is also on the ground floor. Upstairs to the very special romantic bedroom with a modern king size four-poster bed, a 'step-in' couples bath and pretty wooden shutters opening up to the wonderful view. A separate dressing room is provided. Outside, an elevated sitting area with views over Ambleside to the fells provides the perfect place for sunset drinks.

Lovely property on edge of town. 3-4 min walk to centre. Steep walk to cottage, so not for less able

Great property for a base. All the facilities are there. Quirky layout with 4 poster bed and bath in bedroom. 2pubs a 1 min walk from cottage, one serving good food. 20 min walk to lake. One minor negative was cleaning not great, but wouldn't put off a revisit.
