“We loved our stay. The home was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable. It was very well stocked with everything you could need. The views of Old Rag Mountain were amazing. Our favorite room was the screened in porch. It was so peaceful and a perfect place for morning coffee. The location was perfect for hiking and wineries. The whole family enjoyed playing the Monopoly and Jenga after hiking White Oak Canyon. Perfect weekend!”

“This farmhouse is huge and very well appointed. The photos on the listing are accurate. Plenty of beds. Common spaces are comfy, and the outdoor gazebo and pool area are very nice. Kitchen has all you need. The property is very quiet and private. Wifi is slow, but hopefully you don't have to do any work while you are enjoying the beautiful home!”

“The four of us came to John's place with different needs: the kids wanted open space to fly a little plane they received at Christmas, my husband wanted to be close enough to a coffee shop and I wanted hilly open space and a house with charm. Incredibly we all found what we were looking for. It was the perfect spot for us. We also highly appreciated John's overall kindness and ways of communication.”

“We loved staying at this property and hope to return in the future! We hosted a rehearsal dinner for our wedding at a venue nearby and it was wonderful. The house and property are great to get around. The only things I would recommend preparing for is that: (1) the wifi signal and data signal are both weak, so be prepared to spend most of your time off your device; and (2) there are a couple of hornet/wasp nests on the patio and at the event structure by the silo. The walk to the river is bucolic and just right, fishing and other river activities just steps away. The view from the deck/bedroom/fire pit is wonderful.
