「Great Host」

「Beautiful and secluded property, where you can relax while listening to the sound of the nearby waterfall. Having a hot tub, grill, and other amenities added to the fun. Would recommend doing a large grocery run prior to checking in to limit the times needed to come and go.One thing to note if this isn’t indicated in the property description: it’s definitely recommended to have an SUV or at least AWD. The driveway is steep and gravelly, and the gravel can shift after rain. My husband is used to...

「Nice and cozy. Can't go wrong with this one. Book it!」

「The place looks just like the pictures and was very clean. The upstairs bedroom and office nook were great. Very cozy. My daughter worked remotely every morning at the desk. The kitchen was well-stocked and we loved the coffee bar area. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and being visited by deer every evening. The location was good for what we wanted to do - close to National Park and state parks. The Roku television worked well.」

「Place was overall nice. But the master room has no lock on the bedroom door, cabinet in the kitchen was broken, master bedroom outside door to the patio had no handle. So you couldn’t get back into your room. Matt was great he answered any questions that I had! Mostly clean place.」

「We have stayed at several places using VRBO and this was probably the best overall. Location - Very peaceful. Plus not too far of a drive to all kinds of activities. The cabin was beautifully decorated and the amenities...well you really dont need anything because it has been provided. Only minor inconvenience was no closet or dresser, so had to live out of our suitcase. Also our adult son came with us. His bed was almost too small. But these were very minor and did not have any effect on our...

「This is a 10 star retreat!!!First and foremost, Matt the host is super helpful and responsive. Makes you feel like part of the local community. The cabin is up in the mountains, easy to find with a great side yard to play in and watch the wild life (deer - lots of deer). The cabin is incredibly well stocked with every kitchen item you could want or need...especially helpful were the ziploc bags and ALL the spices! They also have full sets of kids cups, plates, flatware, etc.The beds are very...

「Good stay. Would come back. Thank you!」

「Cute place out in the woods. Plenty of parking and a fun rustic feel. Very clean and had everything we needed. Would stay again when in the area.」

「Great little hideout! We loved this little place, accurately described and the communication was superb!」

「This property is so peaceful and cozy. Matthew is a great host as well. Due to the time of year that we went, there were some insects but Matthew was all over it. He was very understanding and made sure that it was taken care of. Overall we enjoyed our stay.」

「We stayed at this lovely cabin for a few days over the Thanksgiving holiday, and it was perfect. It was cozy, comfortable, and spotless…just the right size to feel at home. Natasha, the host, was wonderful. Even while traveling abroad, she communicated quickly and clearly, and we never had any issues reaching her.The kitchen was fully equipped for preparing meals, and every other room had everything we could possibly need. Thank you, Natasha - we’ll definitely be back!」

「The home is cozy but very well designed and equipped with everything our family and our dog needed for a great stay. The EV charger had an extra long cord and was a great bonus in this rural area. Road noise was not an issue during our stay. Would absolutely stay again!」

「Easy check-in process. The cabin is very nice and spacious. There was an issue with stink bugs and someone came to vaccum them up from the floors just as we had arrived. The cabin appears better in the photos than in person. The furniture is sparse but suited our needs OK for our two nights. A few of the beds appeared to have been previously slept in without the sheets being changed. The whole cabin needs to be better maintained from a cleanliness perspective.」

「Beautiful property」

「Our family of six (2 kids in college, 2 kids in high school) had a wonderful time here, stopping one night on our travels up the east coast.」

「We had an amazing time during our week at the Spidey Lodge. The place was exactly as described, and we thought the place felt bigger than the sq footage. Every inch of the place and decor was well thought out, and it was more than enough room for our family of 4. The kids fell in love with the Spidey/Marval themed game room/entertainment space that was completed detached from the house. We had a hard time getting them to leave. We all enjoyed the hot tub as it was clean and well maintained. The...

「Highly recommended! Beautiful property. Clean and conveniently located near Front Royal. Comfortable bedding and nice bathrooms. Lots of great amenities, including WiFi, a grill, and a nice fire pit. I appreciated the communication with the host and the clear check-in and check-out instructions.」
