Thanks for taking the time to post your review of your recent stay and it was pleasing to know you enjoyed your stay. Regarding the point about laundry - thanks for bringing that up so I can clarify that situation. Like all hotels we offer a laundry service - on demand - and with a laundry charge. We have 2 types of service - wash, dry and fold. And wash, dry and iron. The second is double the price of the first. Notwithstanding our charges are very reasonable compared to other hotels. When you bring the washing - the reception will tell you beforehand what the cost will be - as it depends on the amount and items involved. We apologize if there was any confusion regarding this service.

You arrived in a bad mood which affected your perception of our hotel and staff. We are neither of those adjectives and feel sorry that you described us as such. Shared bathrooms are used by 2 rooms only - not 6 - all the others have private bathrooms. Thanks once again for posting.

We regret that you were not completely satisfied during your recent stay. We are a town centre budget hotel - smack inthe centre ... of course there will be noise.. its a middle eastern city .. not the Cotswolds. Most frequesnt travelers reserch before travelling and bring earplugs ..Regarding breakfast its well promulgated 0700-1000Staff start at 0630 ,,, therefore there isnt staff (as in most hotels) to give breakfast at 0545. Only 3-5 stars will do that but not all .. Moreover, packed breakfast isnt necessary with Jett Bus as the bus stops after one hour to take breakfast along the way - with payment of course. In a nutshell you got all wound up about missing your breakfast )which was your choice - why didnt you take a later bus from another location. You cant expect a budget hotel to employ staff 24/7 in case someone takes the bus to Petra ... The other points mentioned are not correct and are only there to reinforce your piont about the breakfast...

Unfortunately there was a problem with your room at the last minute... so rather than bring you to one hotel and then send you to another... as it was later at night - it was deemed better to call you and explain... I know it was disappointing for you and we apologize for that - but we relocated you to a nice and good hotel.... where we were informed you were happy.

Merci d'avoir pris le temps de donner votre avis ... en fait, je suis désolé de vous dire - vous vous trompez beaucoup sur ce que vous avez réservé. Vous avez en fait réservé une chambre individuelle avec salle de bain privée. Les chambres simples ne disposent pas de lits doubles ... elles le sont 'lits simples. La réceptionniste essayait de vous expliquer votre réservation, mais peut-être à cause de problèmes de langue, vous ne pouviez pas comprendre ... Bien sûr, cela crée de la frustration, surtout lorsqu'un client insiste et a tort. Dans tous les cas, nous nous excusons pour la confusion lors de votre visite. .

You have made a review on a prperty in which you didnt stay ... you claim we have a complete breakdown of communications... this is not true... All telephone calls and emails and messages are answered promptly.. Clearly you are referring to another hotel, you never stayed with us. You cancelled your booking months ago....

Thanks for posting your observations regarding your stay ... The bathroom door closes properly it just sticks with the humidity sometimes... this was rectified during your stay... Regarding your friends, thats really not relevant as frankly, there isnt a better hostel with the price/ quality ratio - your breakfast alone would cost 6-7jd - and you paid 9jd .... but thanks for pointing out the unbeatable breakfast we serve....

Its always sad when a guest leaves disgruntled,, its even sadder when a guest invents stories and excuses in order to get a refund as you had decided to go and stay with your family. To clarify, first of all, you booked a single room with a shared bathroom - read your booking - its clearly stated! So why horrified? You booked the cheapest room possible - yet the reception man upgraded you to a room with a bathroom in order to keep you happy. Its basic, as we are a budget hotel.. but it has the necessary - a good bathroom, air conditioning and heating, you had breakfast included and wifi, a TV THAT WORKS WITH 100 CHANNELS - if you couldnt operate it - then you could have asked the reception to show you. Regarding the room - its single... 3.5 x 3.5 metres as you said. Not small in terms of what you paid or whats available elsewhere. Nothing is 'dirty' in our hotel - and the furniture available is more than adequate.. You booked for 3 days and stayed 2 - the staff tried hard to make you happy - but you would not allow any interaction. From your own words, you describe your bizarre behaviour - ie "I left to another hotel the next day without notice" - The morning you arrived, you sent some people to the hotel to come and ask to look at the rooms on the basis they were considering staying with us, they were shown the room type they asked about (for 2 persons) and looked at the lobby and reception - then they said we have a friend coming tonight and we want to check his room. They said they liked the hotel.. so your review is strange. Our staff tried very hard to make you happy - but to no avail.. In these circumstances I believe we couldnt have done more for you.

Reviews are important to us, whether good or bad... however, they should be contructive and truthful - yours sadly is neither.. You have decided to go on a rant because you changed your plans in the last minute and booked a non-refundable room booking and told the reception man to cancel 6 hours before the day... Since you work in a hotel - as you said, you know what a non-refundable booking is for sure. Regarding the credit card charge it was for 2 nights - not one night, and you know that very well since you made the booking for 3 nights. Your haphazard planning and disregard for contractual rules are to blame. Regarding the staff we have the kindest and friendliest staff as you well know.. otherwise why would you sit for hours on end talking with the man you called incompetent, clueless and unhelpful...? As the Manager its my duty to check all complaints - and I checked the camera system for your allegations - and saw you laughing and joking on the sofa - talking to the same 'clueless' man - about your adventures working as a 'bell boy' in Canada ... and a concierge... Yes, the reception man didnt understand the term 'concierge' and what the duties of that post require and you spelt it out for him and he looked it up on the internet and google translate. I wonder how 'clueless' you would have been if he had thrown some Arabic words to you and insisted you should understand! So basically, what you said is untrue.. the staff assisted you with everything, they gave you a nice room with a balcony, clean & spotless as always, the breakfast you finished and not a morsel was left and even had extras - they remember you well. Its sad that you choose to denegrate hard working and kind staff like that because you made a mistake - and you hate yourself for it... and take it out on other innocent people.

Thanks for taking the time o post your review. We really appreciate that. Normally all our staff assist the people with bags.. This is part of our service. No guest is allowed to carry a bag to their room - we do that for them .. We try to ensure the easiest and most comfortable stay.

We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your stay but you actually booked and paid for a double room and when you arrived you were 4 persons. Had we have had another room at that time, we would have given you another room, but we were full. Its good that it didnt interfere with your otherwise enjoyable stay and we are happy to hear that.
