small room with dim lighting.
The room lighting is dim. My first room was small, no table nor chair, only with 3 beds. I strongly requested to change to another room which was better fitted with a table and a chair. The room fair did not worth for the room condition.

Terrible Stay
I was really disappointed to the hotel service. It is so sad that they cant provide separate beds for us two men anymore. But since it is last minute booking, it is understandable. But there are several reasons to upset us. 1. We asked reception two times to give us one more blanket but failed. The third time we asked the receptionist was saying it was not their problem but house keeping. So should I call them on my own? Eventually the reception picked up a very thin blanket to us, and my friend has to suffer from cold whole night. It is an awfully cold night and without any attention from the hotel, 2. It is so noisy. We live very close to the lobby. But it doesn't make any sense to let customers suffer from noise almost whole night. 3. Unclean bed sheet and old towels. There was even hair on the bed sheet. 4. Not enough soap inside bathroom.

überfordertes Hotel - schön Nähe Vondelpark
Es gab Corona- bedingt ein paar Einschränkungen im Service des Check- ins und es gab angeblich Frühstück nur aufs Zimmer- was völlig ok war. Leider wurden die sehr(!) kleinen Zimmer nicht täglich gereinigt - dort könnte man mangels Platz nicht mal alleine frühstücken vor der Tür lag abends nur ein Stapel frischer Handtücher in einer Plastiktüte vor der Tür?! Im Zimmer wurde auch schon lange nicht mehr richtig geputzt. Schade , es wirkt sonst eigentlich sehr nett dort !

Zimmer sind leider zu klein . Kein Schreibtisch vorhanden . Keine wirkliche Ablagefläche . Leider war es auch sehr unsauber und nach Beschwerde , wurde es nochmal gereinigt , aber leider nicht so wie man es gewohnt ist . Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist vollkommen in Ordnung . Es ist direkt der Vondelpark vor der Türe . Bis ins Zentrum sind es einige Gehminuten, aber durch die Stadt von Amsterdam zu laufen ist traumhaft . Zimmer wurde leider nicht jeden Tag gereinigt , obwohl es extra ein Schild gibt , wo man es markieren kann . Im Großen und Ganzen war es okay , aber die Sauberkeit muss nochmal überarbeitet werden .

Pagato in anticipo il soggiorno dal 28 mar 2020 - 31 mar 2020. Il viaggio è stato annullato causa emergenza corona virus, per il blocco delle frontiere. L'hotel non ci ha concesso né il rimborso, né un voucher per rifare il viaggio alla fine dell'emergenza, lo abbiamo chiesto noi in un primo momento senza avere risposta, e poi tramite Expedia, ma niente da fare. Siamo rimasti molto delusi per la poca solidarietà dimostrata da questo Hotel, anche in una situazione di emergenza mondiale. Triste dover scrivere questa recensione, ma necessario.

We were not able to stay at the hotel. We cancelled our trip due to the coronavirus. In fact, US citizens are not even allowed in Amsterdam right now. We reserved non-refundable rooms, and no exception has been made for the virus or the fact we aren't allowed entry into The Netherlands. My daughter made a separate reservation for the same time period and also for non-refundable rooms, however she did get a refund. We had planned to come next summer instead and stay at this hotel, but we will not be visiting your hotel after all.

Please indicate the closing of the hotel during mentioned times before and not at arrival. The room was interesting with two showers, a slightly caved in bed (but it made the sheets feel like they were enveloping you). Is there an auto off switch for the AC at night but doesn't turn back on periodically?

The location is perfection - just out of the roaring city and right next to the park :) The room was modern and comfortable, however there is no curtain/door for the shower so water goes everywhere... and no hooks or rails to hang up your towels to dry. The bathroom becomes cumbersome to get ready in post-shower.

I enjoyed the decor in the building, everything is very clear and organised in the lobby. The staff were very welcoming, helpful, sincere and the bedding and towels were clean in the room. The bed itself was a dream! My only issue was that in the room none of the overhead lights worked but due to only staying a night I didn't mind using a lamp instead

I stayed on the 4 floor which means it was refurbished, my daughter stayed on the basement which was very old and very very small room. Breakfast overpriced for a 3* hotel €15 each.

Lys på badet og ved sengen virket ikke, dette ba jeg dem hver dag om å fikse og de lovet hver dag at dette skulle ordnes. Skuffende. Badet var fullt av fuktighet/mugg og gulvteppet var møkkete, ellers var rommet stilig innredet og sengen komfortabel.

Bra läge, speciellt för museerna
Vårt mål var framför allt museerna vid Museieplan, så läget var perfekt. Det är en lugn gata i ett trevligt område och det är nära att gå även till de centralare delarna. Rummet var inte större än att sängen rymdes, men dusch och toalett helt normalt. Å andra sidan var vi där för att se stan, inte hänga på rummet. Fräscht, men aningen lyhört ut till korridoren.

Easy check in friendly staff lovely lobby. Room was small but cozy had no issues with cleanliness had a pleasant stay overall, great location infront of the park and walking distance to many things including shops, restaurants, museums, tram stops and much more!
