Lovely!
Would stay here again, staff very friendly & helpful. Bed was really comfortable and room really clean. Was a bit noisy as we had room on the front and on top of a bar but still didnt stop us from falling asleep. Im a great area to ive stayed in a few hotels around this area before. I would recommend this hotel.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, wodurch alles zu Fuß erreichbar ist! Es ist zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber das verleiht dem Hotel einen gewissen Charme! Was etwas unangenehm war: man hört im Zimmer extrem gut wenn jemand über die Treppen geht - egal ob rauf oder runter! Nichtsdestotrotz würden wird diese Unterkunft sicher wieder Buchen!

Mooi hotel. Perfecte ligging. Midden van het centrum. Openbaar vervoer voor de deur. Leuke uitgaansgelegenheden in dezelfde straat. Aardig en behulpzaam personeel. Alles goed geregeld. Mochten al vroeg in het hotel. Pasjes lag al klaar bij aankomst.

The staff were very helpful as we needed to check in after they had left for the day, so we arranged to pick up the cards using the lock box. The room was nice, although if you have any mobility issues, you may find the typical Dutch steep staircases quite hard to navigate. The bathroom door didn't close properly but the staff explained how the old buildings in the area shift a lot and this was why. The AC was a little noisy and you heard footsteps on the stairs but other than that it was quite quiet (except a faint sound of music from nearby bars). For the price I am pleased with the accomodation and really liked the colour schemes and it was fantastic being so close to a town centre by Rembrantplein and plenty of places to go for food and drink nearby. It's also very close to tram links which is very handy.

As three 18 year olds the room was perfect and the location amazing, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted, and the beds were very comfortable. The only improvement I can think of is if there was another mirror included in the room, thanks for a lovely stay.

The Bolster is in a great location just off Rembrandtplein and a short walk from the flower market. A boutique style hotel that offers room only. The property is in the older narrow typical dutch style so beware of the stairs as they're steep and narrow! The Bolster is clean and tidy, offers value for money and the staff are lovely!

Comfortable but slightly inaccessible
The hotel was clean and the bed was very comfortable. My one reservation was that there are a lot of steep stairs, which felt unsafe with heavy luggage at times. Otherwise the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I felt comfortable here

Breve soggiorno ad Amsterdam,nota positiva sei veramente nel centro e hai a un minuto il tram o comunque a piedi giri bene.Nota negativa è che sei sotto un pub (l ingresso è lo stesso) e fanno musica fino alle tre di notte...i vetri doppi aiutano ma si sente comunque la muvida. Letto molto comodo ma discutibile la pulizia a differenza del bagno che era super pulito.

Godt beliggende, masser af små barer, restauranter, indkøbsmuligheder lige udenfor. Flere sporvogne nær ved. Mulighed for at opbevare bagage. Bedst at kommunikere på WatsApp. Vi boede øverste oppe med højt til loftet og god plads til tre voksne. Måske ikke egnet til små børn (bar i underetage) og dårligt gående (stejl trappe). Jeg savnede knager på værelse til overtøj (rum 401). Vi kommer gerne igen

A great place to stay for central location
Stayed in the nightlife experience room which was really pretty and cosy. Perfect location - a 10/15 min walk in any direction to the main sites. A lot bigger than expected and was a pleasant stay. On a weekend it can be quite loud from the bars/clubs around but that is to be expected in any hotel close to Amsterdam city centre

Very good location with plenty of restaurants and bars. Easily access all the major walking points of the city. Check in is painless and straight forward. Bar below is active late into the night so if you need quiet request room on higher floor. Smart TV and wifi made those rainy days inside much more entertaining

Mouais… Commençons par les +: super situation, literie confortable Les -: une chambre située devant la réception, ce qui en fait un lieu très bruyant. Quand la réceptionniste parle, c’est comme si elle était dans votre chambre. Le ménage était plus que moyen, j’ai retrouvé des étiquettes de vêtements du précédent occupant. La chambre n’a pas été faire pendant notre séjour. La douche fuyait. Pas de pile dans ma télécommande de la tv (et comme la réception n’est ouverte que qques heures le matin… ben tant pis pour nous! Bref, nous n’y retournerons pas.

La situation de l’hôtel est parfaite, proche du centre et des nombreuses activités. L’accueil est minimaliste et peu agréable, j’ai dû demandé des informations concernant notre jour de départ l’une des personnes présente semblait plus occupée par parler avec sa collègue que de répondre à mes questions. Chambre : nous avions celle juste à côté de la réception (101), nous avions l’impression que les gens étaient dans notre chambre lorsqu’ils parlaient à l’accueil, plus le faite d’être juste au-dessus du pub et de tout les inconvénients que cela incombe, prévoir boules quies si vous y loger. Hygiène juste à la limite de l’acceptable (poussière, tapis au sol sale, sdb juste propre). Très jolie décoration malgré que les murs sombre rapetissent un peu la chambre. Il serait aussi important de préciser dans le descriptif de l’hôtel que l’accès pour aller à la réception est très difficile par les escaliers, très étroits et raide donc pas l’idéal pour des personnes ayant des difficultés à se déplacer. Dommage pour tous ses points négatifs car cet hôtel pourrait vraiment être un lieu agréable de part sa situation, du charme du bâtiment et de la décoration.

Great location, we stayed on the first floor so only one flight of stairs to climb. It's a busy area with lots of bars right outside & underneath the hotel, considering how noisy it was outside our first floor room was fairly quiet.

Beliggenheten er midt i blinken! Nær trikk og andre fasiliteter. God service og hyggelig personale. Veldig bratt trapp opp til rommet, så dette er noe å være obs på om du har tung bagasje. Noe som trekker opplevelsen veldig ned er at det er helt sinnsykt lytt ut til «resepsjonen». Kunne høre alt folk sa utenfor når jeg var inne på rommet. Ikke spesielt godt renhold. Skittent teppe på gulv, flekker på puter og gardiner. Slitt interiør og forferdelig bråk fra cafeen under til langt ute på natta.

The beds were uncomfortable. And, the hotel rooms are above a bar that normally opens until 4/5am. Thankfully, Covid restrictions meant all bars had to close at 12pm, otherwise we would have got no sleep.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Der Rembrandtplein ist ein beliebter Ausgehplatz, daher ist es am Abend aber auch recht laut. Das Zimmer selbst ist schon ziemlich runtergekommen, teilweise kleine Löcher im Putz, kleine Flecken an der Wand und abgenutzte Oberflächen.

Need extreme improvement.. shocking.
Bad hotel to stay. The gentleman was such a great help for my late check in and leave, excellent with great manner. But day time only from 10 to 5 there is 1 lady there and she is too busy with other things.. and my friend told me she has terrible manners. Staircase is unreasonably steep and small, lucky the staff gentleman helped me carry the luggage otherwise i am i m in deep trouble. Not possible for any woman with big luggage to go up. There is No lobby, no front door, i m there for vacation, not a jail time. Room is smallest i ever been. Things inside the hotel room such as kettle, coffee mugs... they are full of dust. Coffee mug still has stain inside... never been somewhere like this before..

The Bolster är ett mysigt och supertrevligt hotell nära nöjestorget Rembrandtplein, beläget i en autentisk äldre byggnad med hiskeligt branta trappor! Förvänta dig inte några extravaganser men hög standard på rummet och nog den skönaste hotellsäng jag sovit i. Personalen är extremt hjälpsam och serviceminded.
