Super clean. Great central location. Would have been nice to have another bed in the 3rd room instead of a single bed, because the sofa bed was a little uncomfortable (there was 7 of us). Otherwise it was an enjoyable stay!

The neighborhood is about two blocks away from a sketchy main road. Lots of homeless people meandering about. The house felt safe enough despite the location. All appliances worked well, good water pressure, good water temperature. Rooms were fine. Art in the house is very classy.

Nice place.

Very clean. One side of a duplex. Property doesnt sleep 12 unless you count sleeping on the floor or outside. 4 beds plus some couches. Very nice location with convenient access to major roads without having to hear them.

We stayed at the property for 2 weeks and had a nice stay! Pros:-cost-location in relation to the highway and Anchorage-well stocked with toilet paper, basic toiletries, kitchen items and basic spices-comfortable master bed-big supply of extra sheets and towels-cleaning supplies like broom and vacuum weren’t locked up, like some vacation rentals do. It was nice to be able to tidy up throughout our stay. -laundry room with laundry detergent available-updated bathrooms-Host was pleasant and easy to contact-very clean in all the places that mattered- kitchen/beds/bathroomsCons:-Lingering odor of pets/smoking?, probably from previous tenants. It did dissipate throughout our stay as we opened windows. -not the best neighborhood-no blackout curtains in the bedrooms. Coming from the east coast, this was rough. It would be 3am “our” time and it would still look like daylight in the bedrooms.If you’re like us and want an affordable place to lay your head at night, close to amenities while you get out and explore, it’s perfect. We would stay here again. The key is to know your own personality- this rental isn’t for people who want a luxury apartment to hang out in, but perfect to get out and experience AK or spend time with a loved one stationed at JBER.

I received no information regarding check so had to contact the host. The accommodation was in need of many repairs and upgrades. The bath sink drain, the torn leather couch, etc. some of the pans in the cabinets were dirty, greasy with food on them. It was a roof over our head with adequate amenities.

Our stay at this residence was comfortable. The house had most needed items one tends to forget while traveling. The location was centered for our daily excursions. Uber and Uber eats had no problem finding the address. The daily rate was lower than most but the accommodations were nice, not subpar. Communication with the owner was quick and complete.

Cozy Anchorage Home

The rental had everything we needed for us and our 2 adult sons for our trip. They even provided a few necessities in case we forgot some things. The house is a bit older but the bathrooms have been updated and it was plenty warm for those of us from the lower 48! It was close to the base we were visiting and other great activities. We would definitely stay again!

One Start is Too Much

This place was dirty. The kitchen cupboards have old grease on them. The cooking pans were covered in old grease. The BBQ looked like it had never been cleaned. They're wasn't a comfortable place to sit in the whole house. One couch was split at the seams and you can feel the springs starting to poke through the fabric. The rails on the kitchen slider were filthy. This place was disgusting.

Decent place

Overall it worked for our needs. The place is spacious and with 4 of us and a child everyone felt comfortable and not cramped at all. The place is rather outdated, beds, furniture, carpeting all rather aged but it had everything we needed to be comfortable . Plenty of towels etc.
