Worst condition hotel ever in a tourist town

The room is a total disaster. Broke and battered. Worst Scenario ever faced! Nightmare! Broken everything, the drapes, the electric wall plug were without surface plates exposing the socket , only one socket works out of 2! The shower slide door won’t slide, walls were dirty with lumpy paint tears down the wall. Furniture were aged and dirty and shinny from aged grease rubbing on it. Fabric were vintage and old. Flooring was dull and old . Insufficient lighting. Worst if worst experience!

Derelict property visited by many unsavory individuals that appear in dumpsters to dig for items or continually bike ride in circles in the driveway that also required numerous repairs. The room had a door with gaps; the toilet seat was not in line with the toilet; the curtains faced an unkempt, trashed residential property, so remained closed at all times; the "kitchen" consisted of dented appliances that were inserted between old, decrepit cupboards, and the tv did not work.

I confirmed 24 hours check in and shuttle prior to making reservations as I knew we landed after 2am and flight could be delayed. Landed finally close to 5 called multiple times, no answer after almost 2 hours several calls and no answer I gave up. They charged me for the room ice called and talked to employee who was going to talk to manager , no response I've left addi messages no response. Terrible customer service. What a rip off. Left me tired and frustrated at airport after all night flight. Don't bother.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The best part was they had 24/7 shuttle services. This is a nastiest rundown old hotel. The staff does there best but its falling apart. Its my faulty for chraping out but its bad.

The pictures of this property on the listing look nothing like the actual building. We checked in and checked right back out. The room was so nasty! Dust and hair everywhere! In the kitchen and all over the bathroom.

The carpet in the hallway and inside the room smelled like cigarette, the bed skirt was very dirty, some of my travel mates didnt sleep in the bed. The bathtub and toilets were also not cleaned properly. Suggestion please wash the bedskirt because its really dirty its not worth of the money that we paid..

The room was possible the worst hotel room I've ever been in. The couch and seat cushions were completely smashed flat from age and use. The room just seemed exceptionally poor. There was no air and the one window that opened didn't have a screen. It's the first time in my life that we actually just left the property after about 10 minutes in the room and booked another room at a different hotel even though we were just going to be there a few hours until our flight left. I clearly didn't pay attention to the rating when I booked that one. 4.6 was even too high

Stayed for one night and while the staff were good, check in was smooth, the place itself looks like it’s falling apart. There are stains on every inch of the room, the couch had a literal white crusty handprint on it. The smell in the hallway is awful and it seeps into the rooms. If you’re just there to sleep it’s a shelter, but be prepared for lots of pieces secured to the wall with masking tape and some questionable stains throughout.

It is the cheapest hotel in the area. You get what you pay for. I just needed a room for 1/2 a day till my plane left. For that it worked. Staff was great. Hotel and area are not. I strongly suggest not to bring children here.

Here in an oky'ish review. I'm giving 3 stars because its one star for each of the 3 nights we stayed there. Positive things first: We didn't have bed bugs and we had clean towels everyday and the beds were comfortable. America's Best Value Inn & Suites did not match the hotel on the reservation site BECAUSE it is a different hotel. A fire took the original hotel in 2022 (look it up online) and it appears that this hotel that shared a parking area was rebeanded and renamed America's Best Value Inn & Suites. It is a Value but does not match the website photos. It's old and run down, no elevator but a simple continental breakfast in the lobby that we expected. Our in room fridge didn't stay closed due to missing magnetic strips to close it properly so everything ran cold and froze our food, loosing $40 of food that was frozen in just 24 hours in a refrigerator (photo attached). Kitchen sink had awful faucet that leaked on counter top. Ground floor room had warped floors in the rooms. We learned that there is not much sound barriers between the floors as neighbors above us had an exceptionally squeeky bed during their 20-30 minute gymnastics event. Thankfully, this was our last night. Even the bathroom light was clinking with every intensifying squeek of the bed frame. Its just a old hotel still making money for cheap travelers. I guess I was cheap but I'd look somewhere else if I went back. There arent a lot of options in Anchorage.
