We had to fly out of Anchorage the next day, but the last thing we wanted to do was end a wonderful Alaskan vacation in the middle of the city, so we stayed at Pioneer Ridge B&B and it was extraordinary. Setting and view were spectacular. Lots of eye candy all over the lodge, Our room was beautiful and very comfortable and the lemon blueberry pancakes in the morning are to die for. Thoroughly recommend this peaceful, beautiful stay.

This property was absolutely wonderful! The staff and service were amazing and they were all very hospitable. It was very well decorated and our room was perfect. They even offered us a rollout bed so our kids wouldn’t have to share! They also had a game room that my kids loved and a beautiful viewing deck. The rooms were quiet and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious as well and they made gluten free options for my husband. I can’t say enough good things about this place! We will be recommending to any family or friends who come to the area.

This is a perfect B&B in my opinion. Owners were nice. Clear check in instructions. Great communication. Amazing property with wonderful work of art. Delicious breakfast. What a nice surprise this was! Wish we could stay longer. Everything about this place is well done. The snacks and drinks in the lobby area after a long drive were a welcome sight. Amanda was flexible with us on check in time. I can’t recommend this gem enough!

This place is adorable. Amanda was welcoming and helpful. Our room, the “Fishing Room”, was filled with fun things to look at and had a big clawfoot tub in the beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. We didn’t come all the way from Florida to stay in some chain hotel—this place is off the beaten path, quaint, clean, safe, and I’d highly recommend it. We would absolutely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Pioneer Ridge BB. The hotel is located at a beautiful and quiet place. It is a family owned place and feels like home coming. The interior decorations are elegant and beautiful. Shannon is very nice. She heard that we had to leave early so she made sure that we had a warm and delicious breakfast by 7am.

This is a very unique B&B that has a lot of history. The views from the deck and out of the main floor dining/lounge are beautiful. Our room was very spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The artwork around the the whole place is amazing and just added to the beauty of the property. The owners are very accommodating, loved to tell the story of the area, and took care of all our questions and needs. They have traveled quite a bit themselves so they know what a traveler likes to see. Breakfast was a very nice variety including something hot and fresh. You CAN NOT go wrong booking. I will if I am lucky enough to get to AK again.

This little BnB in Wasilla was perfect! The views were incredible. I booked the apartment with a full kitchen and a washing machine and dryer. The host was wonderful. The breakfast was hot and delicious every morning. Comfortable beds. I will definitely stay here again if I get back to AK!

Had a great stay at Pioneer Ridge! Beautiful property with amazing views. Very friendly staff who go out of their way to make your stay memorable. The property is stunning. The hosts are very serious about offering a warm and delicious home-cooked breakfast and strive to meet everyone's needs. There are lots of spacious common areas with a variety of entrainment options. The rooms are cozy and the decorations in each are homey and uniquely Alaskan.

This place is absolutely amazing! The hosts are great, friendly and accommodating! Also, great cooks! The scenery is absolutely beautiful, the property is clean and well maintained. Location is convenient for quick jaunts to Palmer and Wasilla, and is a reasonably quick drive to Anchorage. Wonderful place to unplug and unwind for a little bit.

Absolutely lovely bed and breakfast. Would highly recommend. I will definitely tell all my friends to stay there. We stayed in the Iditarod room. Huge bathroom. A queen and 2 twin beds. Sauna available along with 3 common area rooms. Hot breakfast served in the AM.

Wonderful!!!

This was the best place i stayed on my trip to alaska! Beautiful property and a super sweet host. The room actually blacked out so you could get good sleep! Only place i went with that. Great breakfast in the morning. Would love to stay here again!
